As for the first bold part, the truth is Toral is wrong choice for a role of Anandi, there is no magical makeup enough to change that fact and make her more appealing. She is a bad actress, there is no help there either (5 months are enough time to improve, and that never happened).
As for the second, I believe creatives were trying their best (just to proove their choice of replacement to be right), but when you do not have quolity ingredients you can not cook good meal, or even if you have few good ingredients, but you mix it with one that is below neccesary quality, you will completely spoil your dish, and even those good ingredients will be wasted.
So there is nothing creatives could do, beside change Toral, and obviously they are not willing to do that, because by doing that they would admitt that they were wrong in the first place, by choosing her for the role of Anandi. So, guess, all of you who still watch BV are stuck with her scary and weird expressions.
