Mannu has a creep for a dad and his hooligans are all here just to kidnap him. And all he gets his - seeing his poor mom crying and getting yelled at and being fearful. Plus now - he will get picked up by some goon and watch his mom look horrified. These things can create real, lasting nightmares in the impressionable child's memory.

I do hope the actual parents of this baby know when to put their foot down and not let him be subjected to too much noise and scary faces.

This things worries me a lot. Kids are subjected to emotional situations, besides harsh lights etc. which is not fair. Kids who cant express themselves, infants who are still in the cradle. Nowadays, every second serial has a baby.

There were other babies in the serial like Nandu, but they are perhaps putting more pressure on Mannu. He is being made to imitate adult emotions like being sad when Jagya is with Sanchi, being sad when her mother is weeping is OK but like in one episode when he was made to look from Jagya to her mother in sad expression was bad. At his age, he cannot understand that her mother loves Jagya and is not happy seeing him with other woman, so why make him do such scenes? But this cute baby was given so much happy scenes also.
