THis is not some Ekta nonsense that people or actors get rewarded infact even she , herself does not reward the actor rather she just goes with the story. What ever she wants to do she does.. with or without the actor and thats why she is successful.. no matter how irate it can get.BV ke CVs always LOVED jagya's character. They always made him the highlight of the show.. like 1000 times more than Anandi. Yes the story is revolved around Anandi but .. Jagya is always been the CVS fav boy. Its always about Jagya and what Jagya wants. Jagya is their love child and they don't favor anyone for that character. They go with that charactersimportancefrom Day one.The story is more about what Jagya wants and does not wants than Anandi. ItstrulyBal Var more than Balika Vadhu.The character replacements non rpelacements have nothing to do jack with what BV wants to say. Everyone had a role they fnished their story. Gehna basant did their share, sugna pratap shayam had their story... mahavir Dadisa had hteir thing... khajan bhago theirs, sumitra teepri and bhairav had theirs and then Anandi gauri jagya, Anandi Shiv Jagya, Anandi Sanchi Ganga Jagya Shiv.SO the story goes on and on and on and KUDOS to the team to stretch it this far and we wtill like the show. Yes we hate certain tracks... Gosh I cannot lay a sight on one episode nowa days but still its the NO. 1 show in my list.So no... Cvs do not favor ANYONE for Balika Vadhu.They have a story to tell they tell. With or without any actor actress .. new old what ever.This is their mantra of success ... July 2008 it started and still strong and its 20135+ years.!

I too watch this show only despite all its flaws but don't get defensive about it.
Other actors have NOT being that loyal to BV for some reason or the other. Someone left due to illness, someone left due to personal reasons like marriage or pregnancy, someone left merely to focus on other shows or films. Shashank is the only one who remained stuck to BV - whether deliberately or by chance.
I agree Jagya has been main focus of the show from day one and it is always about his choices. I had also said it should be caled Balak Var. But this sudden full focus on making him a devta after keeping him insecure and sanki for long is partly a result of other actors ditching the show, using its popularity for their own growth but leaving it.
I disagree BV has a story. It had a story but not now. Replacement did make a difference which reflects in sudden shift from Anandi and Shiv towards characters like Ganga and Sanchi - of course Jagya.
The lack of story and cluelessness of CVs is visble from the way they have failed to provide proper continuity or closure to other characters (and I am not just talking Gauri here) and messed with basic characterisation of many characters.
BV is no less than an Ekta Kapoor serial now. The only thing they have not done is bringing back dead people with plastic surgery. Rest, they've done as much sensationalism and BS and regressive trash as any other soap.In fact the milk serious issues for cheap drama now!
BV is constantly dropping on TRP charts. How is it going strong? Ekta's shows were always in top 3 and dropped down only around their 6th year. While this one has lost both plot and position already. Not even top 5, forget top 3 and barely staying in top 10.
Not much to be proud of really.
