This story reminds me of my friend's. Her parents told the prospective bridegroom's parents that they can get visa for the girl eventhough their son was a greencard holder. Those parents chose my friend just because her dad is an influential person and she can get into the US. After the marriage no visa for almost 3 years. By that time the marriage was already done. There is a saying say 1000 lies for a marriage.
Urmi devi went little over the top with "Meri beti ka sindoor". Was the engagement done? There will be so many prospective alliances that doesn't mean it will work out. Regarding Sanchi she will not go to celebrate her friend's birthday party now. Sanchi is lucky to have a bhabi like Anandi or else in this day and age we can guess what will happen if sil's behave that way. 😉

Dhamaka episode! Ha! 🤣

I feel bad for Jagya and Anandi because once again they had to be shamed due to blunders made by that hypocrite DS!

I agree Urmila Devi should have verified facts herself instead of blindly believing hearsay from a random budhiya.

BUT STILL:

I feel the shameless hypocrite Singhs deserve to be shown the mirror often!

I loved episodes in which Bhago, Khajan, Gehna, Gehna's parents, Sumitra's brother, Shyam's family, Gauri & her family reminded Singhs and particularly DS of their hypocrisy, fake honour, lies, arm twisting ways and selfishness!

And I am loving it now!

DS may have tried to reform now but she is basically a liar, hypocrite who would do any trickery to get what she wants.

Anandi's remarriage was only to resolve her own guilt. This is why she pressurised dying Bhago (who they did not visit even when she was sick!) to convince Anandi to remarry, she pushed Anandi towards Shiv, pushed Ashima away and lied to prospective rishta wallahs for Shiv so that they themselves leave Shiv and only Anandi gets planted there!

DS' lies were WRONG! And she deserved every word that Urmila Devi shouted at her tonight! I was glad to see these jhoothi shaan wale Singhs lowering their eyes in shame and that DS trying to hide her face as Urmila Devi and Sanchi ripped them apart! 👏

I did not find Sanchi's behaviour wrong today. Any girl who is attached to her family and loves her brother would not tolerate others defaming her brother for no reason! If I were in her place I would never even speak to those dirty people again. 🤢

Even today, shameless Sumitra was hiding facts of Jagya's life and I was laughing as she said Jagya left Mumbai because he wanted to serve villagers and had his "own" hospital here! 🤡

Damned hypocrite! You make faces at Ganga, you want to verify every girl you select for Jagya, you want a virgin for Jagya but you hide all truths about your laadesar from girls' families?! Chal phut! 😡

They deserve no respect. They educated and supported Anandi only when they learnt Jagya would not be with her and they wanted to resolve their guilt complex. Bhairon funded Gauri's education only to make up for his crazy mother's blunders! Currently Jagya is helping Ganga to resolve his guilt, feel better about himself by convincing himself that he can also do some good thing.

The record of Singhs is so bad one wonders how they got good people like Shyam, Shiv, Ganga, Anandi in their family relations! 😲

It's useless anyway. DS will be back to her "normal" manipulative self again in few days. Making ashamed faces and giving excuse of laad pyar/bhool etc. is a routine for her.

Later she'll gloat over her jhoothi shaan again when she and others help Ganga!

Ganga looked like she wanted to defend DS. Sahi hai! Such women are what Singhs want! 10th or 12th pass to pass off as educated (or a BA by correspondence), cooking and cleaning all the time, covering up their blunders, bowing to them even despite their tamashas.

I am thinking Ganga's original strong self is going to go. She'll be made Anandi 2. Later she won't even gently remind Singhs of their mistakes. Just like Gehna is a stooge now.

T's acting was sub par again today. Such limited expressions? Why keep stiff face all the time?

Anyway, Anandi was at fault here too and so were other Singhs, for hiding this matter and thinking it would never come up again.

I guess Anandi had talked to Shiv about it, no? Okay he did not mind it. But did Anandi and Singhs think it would remain limited between them only?

Funny how the damned Singhs keep calling Mahavir Singh, Shyma's Tau sa and Gauri evil when they own have a long list of blunders, lies, cover ups, arm twisting tricks!

Once Khajan had to beg pardon to Singhs, no? I wonder how others have to apologise and pay for wrongs they do whereas Singhs only make a constipated face, Bhairon sometimes coughs up a "sorry" and they start living in jhoothi shaan again!

These morons could never give proper guidance and upbringing to Jagya but never accepted their responsibility. Instead disowned him, leaving him to rot. Now hypocrites are over-eager to shower him with love and meddling in his life too by forcing him to remarry. Sone pe suhaga they never even tell truth of Jagya to anyone! Liars!

If not for anything else, the shameless Singhs would have received thrashings from a girl or her parents for hiding truth about Jagya's past!

They are like dog's tail. They'll never straighten up! Never learn from past mistakes.

It's good Jagya left in silence instead of defending DS or later consoling her. DS deserves it. And Jagya is also showing signs of improvement by no longer condoning his over-doting manipulative elders. U spoke my mind.I really hate Singh family and particularly DS from core.Nau sou chuhaa kha ke billi chali haj ko.

Thanks for the update!

Reading all these posts has been really insightful. Keep up the good work everybody 👍🏼

DS finally got the lecture she deserved...been waiting for this since she dragged Shiv's name through the mud 😈 The end did not justify the means at all. Her basic nature...though motivated by love...still came to the forefront when dealing with the situation. It is what happens in real life, frustrating but true. But also true is that nothing is hidden forever. Finally someone shoved a mirror in front of her face and the Singhs to show them what they are really like.

I only hope that they continue with this introspection and not sweep it under the rug like so many other things. In particular because their actions are damaging Jagya and not giving him the time or space to really heal and move on. Everyone is manipulating him just like they did Anandi. Yes the end was amazing but how much did Anandi and Shiv have to suffer and still continue to suffer as a consequence of the Singhs' actions.

In spite of all this, there is one thing which I don't understand about BV's portrayal of marriage proposals. They show the proposal as almost final even before the girl and guy talk to each other. This is the case even with J's first proposal, this one with UD's daughter and for that matter UD's daughter with S. How can one be so sure that the proposal will click even before the prospective couple meet? So in that respect UD was a little out of proportion although her anger at feeling cheated and mislead is totally right. In my opinion the sindoor dialogue was a little over board.

Actually, at the time (temple scene between ds and urmi devi) ... urmi devi had told dadisa that shiv raj shekhar's mother and entire family loved her daughter (Madhavi) ... and that if it was up to shiv's mother she would welcome Madhavi as her daughter in law today itself.
So, UD operating in typical village style fashion assumed that if family has accepted her daughter as their prospective daughter in law, then shiv could not be far behind and would most probably agree to his parents and accept her as wife.
One level of approval had already been finalized (i.e. shiv's family) ajnd this was a huge level, and Urmi devi probably assumed that the click was inevitable.
Urmi devi definitely would have taken it in stride if Shiv and her daughter had met and not clicked... because there would have been definitive finality about it...and it would be based in reality.. but now she broke it off before they met, so in urmi devi's mind there will always be the niggling thought wondering "what if... what might have happened" if they had met. It may be an illusion but I dont blame Urmi devi. In the village environment, I dont think that interpersonal chemistry is very highly looked into. Discussions take place between families.
