I read this way at the beginning when you posted it, but bided my time before I wrote on it because reading this post made me emotional all over again over losing Pratyusha, hamari Anandi. Indeed no one has the copyright over Anandi and for me she is our Anandi...*SIGH*
I agree, I feel like less has been said in appreciation about Pratyusha's Anandi. It's as if it never happened, those three years of hard work, just dismissed. Not only by the channel, but the forum...thank you for making this wonderful post, she deserves such recognition and praise.
The anandi who was Dadisa's chidakli...Ma's lado...bapusa's pride...sugna's sister...Jagiya's tormented wife but still his confider and care-taker...LalSingh,Asha and abhishek's friend...the sarpanch of Jetsar...an ever caring daughter of her new sasra - the Shekhars and last but not the least the equal-half,the life-partner and the Soulmate of Shivraj Shekhar, You played all these roles and faces with unmatchable elegance and finesse.
Agreed Malikka! She played the roles/faces of the many facets of Anandi with elan and finesse! Something many of her contemporaries wish they could achieve, but only true talent can separate you from the rest. Most of my shock and disappointment comes from the fact that so many seem so ready to dismiss our pyaari chidakli...it seemed so shocking to me when she has only wished the best for Balika and time and time again reiterated her wish for this show to last for another 1000 episodes and to be a part of it till the end.
Unfortunately that could not happen, but I will not be able to easily dismiss her journey as Anandi because it took three years of that journey for her to get to this beautiful part of her life as Mrs. Anandi Shivraj Shekhar.
Thank you again for writing this post, I think most of us have been reeling with the shock of this replacement that we have been at wit's end trying to make heads and tails out of the entire situation...we all really needed this post, thank you for writing it so beautifully, much needed therapy for us all missing our pyaari Mrs. Anandi Shivraj Shekhar.
