Mumbai: It appears that it will be very tough for Toral Rasputra, new Anandi of famous daily soap Balika Vadhu, to prove herself a better replacement of Pratyusha Banerjee in the show as she has been receiving pathetic response from the audience ever since she stepped into Banerjee's shoes.

After lead actor of Balika Vadhu Pratyusha quit the show, Toral replaced her in the soap opera. But the viewers' response reveals that it will be very difficult for her to meet the expectations of the audience, who wants Pratyusha back as Anandi.

Pardaphash received unprecedented responses from readers expressing their anger and disappointment over Pratyusha's quitting.

"I am ardent fan of Balika Vadhu, colors tv show. I am writing you from Serbia in order to ask for your help," said a reader from Serbia.

"We received information that Pratyusha Banerjee did not left the show on her own will and she was forced to do that by the director of the show. The very same director also threatened her that she will never ever find a job in tv industry. Is that a way to treat 21 years old girl who spent last 3 years working 12 hours a day , 6 days a week? Is that a message BV is sending about women and their rights in Indian society?"

"We need to do something and protect her. Please help us to spread the truth. We, ardent BV fans, owe that to her," he added.

"She was forced by production house to leave the show, she was upset with the head of department who just didn't cared for their health n life just wanted them to do work always and issues arose betwen the production house who just became egoistic money minded n misbehaved with her so she left show for her dignity, "said Anusha Bajaj from Bhopal Madhya Pradesh.

"Toral is an extremely bad choice for a character that Pratyusha breathed life into... She needs to do a lot of work before she can attempt to reach the iconic status that Pratyusha achieved. We (and I speak for very many people) have already quit the show," said Gina Malkani from New Delhi.

"I hope pratyusha comes back to us as anandi.. we have been loyal viewers of the show. anandi is the most loved and fascinating character of the show, which pratyusha portrayed perfectly to us. so definitely its impossible that the show carries the same impact further without her! We have already stopped watching the show without her please bring her back to us!," said Manindra Kumar from Patna.

However, the fate of the serial cannot be foreseen so early. All we can do is just wait and watch if Pratyusha's exit will affect the ratings.

Well, we agree that Pratyusha is a very talented actor but we must say that it is too early to predict the fate of new Balika Vadhu and audience must give a chance to Toral to get into the skin of the character.

Dheeraj Dhoopar has replaced Shoaib Ibrahimin the TV show " Sasural Simar Ka" as Prem, husband of lead character Simar. Dheeraj says it's a big challenge for him to replace someone who is so popular.

"Prem is a very popular character on TV. The show is doing good, TRP (Television Rating Point)-wise also its doing good. It has a good storyline. It's a very big challenge for me to replace someone who is so popular and connected with the audience," Dheeraj said Monday on the sets of the show.

"I hope people like me also and continue to love Prem like they have been," said Dheeraj, last seen in TV show " Kuch Toh Log Kahenge".

Manish Raisinghani, who plays Prem's brother Siddhant says although the team will miss Shoaib, they welcome Dheeraj with open arms.

"When you start working together, you become a family. We will miss Shoaib. A sudden change has come. One family member has gone and one has come. We will miss Shoaib, but welcome the new member," Manish said.

"Sasural Simar Ka" first went on air April 25, 2011 on Colors.
