Very beutifully put. and hats off to the CVs for giving such a subtle and beautiful love story. I think, there is very less parallel to this story being shown on TVOriginally posted by: yaherd15
Thanks for the update!!!
WOW. What an emotionally heartfelt episode. If yesterday was full of insights, today was taking those insights to another level.I think I will talk about Jagya first since I will just go on an on about AnSh if I wanted too and lose track of the other part of the compelling storyline LOL. Well must say the Ganga-J track is definitely very interesting now. On one hand there is J, who already feels guilty about how he screwed over Ganga their first encounter and now realizes he has screwed her over a second time when she had called him for help. His feelings of angst and guilt are the proper prayashchit rather than J's failed attempt in self-imposed isolation from his family. We can see how Ganga pulls out the good from him, renewing him, bringing him to a path of self-discovery. And then there is Ganga, who the poor thing wanting to do everything she can to have her child and live in peace is going to find her pillar of strength in J. As for Ratan, that man is really a rat (a proper nickname Anjana LOL). DISGUSTING. And that ward boy justs keep checking in on Ganga so that he can kill her! *SMH* Such men who exist in the world without ANY sense of humanity...I don't know whether to cry for the world or shake my fists in anger at the world! Thank GOD for Jagya, he is that pillar, the sword for Ganga. Now onto AnSh...sigh...this couple. Always beautiful and mature. Anandi's monologue where she explores her inner conflict in that she doesn't understand why she is being this way to Shiv, that it hurts her, it leaves her restless when she sees how she hurts Shiv by not accepting his touch, his love. How badly she wants to and how conflicted she is bc she is chained in by her own fears. She questions how far she can test Shiv's love and patience when all he is done is shown his love, care, and patience, how can she do this to him...We all know and have seen in Anandi's eyes her feelings for Shiv, but again, to have physical intimacy with another man, is the deepest form of submission to a relationship, esp as we know for Anandi. She has said before that for her, love is worship. It was not easy taking out Jagya from Anandi's heart, and even harder to accept Shiv as a potential life partner. Now that he is...she wants to reciprocate that same deep love he bestows on her in the same manner. That love is there for her, I believe, but I think Anandi needs time for that love to deepen, to become as overwhelming as Shiv's love is for Anandi. I think that is fair because I wish for Anandi to have that overwhelming love for Shiv when they do have their SR. Only then will it be right, that it will mean something. Yes Anandi is growing to be comfortable around Shiv, but even I think it's too soon right now for her...for her their relationship started off as professional colleagues to friends to best friends and now he is her life partner. In my head, it feels as if Anandi is a girl who just started dating a guy she has feelings for...that she is thinking of herself as a woman who is attractive to her husband after thinking for so long she was unwanted, unattractive, undeserving. I am glad to see CVs show Anandi's inner conflict, her desire to be with Shiv and her fears, her understanding of Shiv's pain. Then there is Shiv, who smiles whilst being hurt so that he never makes Anandi feel uncomfortable. The way he comforts her, and apologizes to her about touching her, that he shouldn't have, that it just happened. And the way Anandi interrupts and apologizes to him right back saying she is the one who should be sorry, for some odd reason she can't seem to be comfortable, it's not his fault when all he was doing was showing his love. Anandi, surprisingly while saying sorry, hugged Shiv!!! Yes, she is not ready for physical intimacy, but she IS, without realizing that she is definitely making progress in being physically comfortable with Shiv. I don't think Shiv and Anandi had even hugged before marriage. Yes he may have picked her up at times, lol, but have we ever seen Anandi come to hug Shiv before marriage??? No. She has gotten comfortable enough to hug him not only once, but twice. Once to find solace in him after her family lied to her about Jagya and the second was today, out of the pain she feels for causing Shiv pain. I think it IS interesting to note that the first time she hugged him, Shiv didn't touch her, but this time when she did, he put one arm around her. They indeed both found solace in each other for the pain they are both unwillingly causing each other. It was really beautiful and touching to see.And have said it plenty of times before, but I can't help but say it again, it's not a big deal that they did not consummate, bc this was much better as a scene. It's clear now that the CVs will show a well crafted track with Anandi slowly getting over her fears of physical intimacy, that will have a well developed resolution to it. I am happy for that because we have yet to see Anandi on her own path of self-discovery. Yes she is not lost like Jagya, BUT she is lost in finding herself to now being a woman, a mature wife to a mature husband. She is no longer a teenage girl who was married to her childhood friend/husband. The physical intimacy that she would share with Shiv, would be much deeper than the one she shared with Jagya, that love I felt had a more innocent/first love sheen to it...the maturity and depth of love was not in that relationship because they were too young. Studies/research and even those of you have personally experienced it know that, we change most drastically from ages 18-24. Yes we still do change and grow, but that time period is scientifically proven to show exponential, rapid growth/changes in an individual. The love Jagya-Anandi had was one of childhood, but the love Shiv-Anandi have...that is one of maturity, understanding, a love that a woman and a man share, not of two teenagers. So for me, I appreciate the small steps, because in those small steps are signs of a deepening and stronger love that defies all tests/struggles of life. It will only make their love more intensely beautiful. Also about the precap, we see Anandi putting her hand on Shiv's chest while sleeping! Another sign of progress that makes Shiv happy! LOVED it!!! Anandi may not know it bc she is so busy being wracked with guilt about not being physically intimate with Shiv, that she is making small steps that are taking her closer and closer to Shiv! First those hugs, and now the hand while sleeping...I think even Shiv has noticed, what with those two hugs and now this hand...the way he smiled, priceless. =)As Prats said in her interview, the reward of patience is sweet and I think as viewers we shall be rewarded by a beautifully written love story that is continuing to unfold before our eyes.P.S.-Sorry for going on and on about AnSh, but I did forewarn everyone so iss se aur zyada main kuch nahin kar sakti (ya karna chahti nahin hoon lol) bc I love this couple so much! =)
