My initial thought was that saanchi was worried because her friends may think that she herself is downmarket because she is associated with a 'downmarket' person like anandi.

Now that her friends thought highly of anandi, I dont understand what is bothering her at the moment, because now her association with anandi reflects positively on her ...so she should have been relieved and happy that anandi carried herself so well.

But she still has some sort of vendetta, despite nobody thinking ill of her, so i cant understand what happened.

It is difficult for us to understand her problem because she herself doesn't seem to understand what her problem is.

She didn't get to select her bhabhi nor did anyone ask her opinion(which she expected, i guess). so she hates anandi without any base.

some people just wanted to prove anyhow they are right... even if they wrong.. sanchi is good example of that... she count in category...like when some victim go through with hardship and problem... some people still find a reason to find fault of them.. its habit that never die..

sanchi wanted to hate anandi because she doesn't give her chance to choose bhabhi and she wanted to prove and show anyhow.. that she is wrong choice of brother.. even for that its insult her family honor she dont care about it..

What I cant understand is how a mother and a daughter can be such opposites?

It is said "Like mother, like daughter" meaning daughters tend to do what their mothers did before them.

A mother is normally a role model for the daughter unless the mother herself has some weaknesses in her which the young daughter does not approve of. But Ira seems to be an epitome of a perfect daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, wife, mother, chachi and so on.

At a young age like saanchi's, you usually have a close bond with your mother and try to imitate her. If the mother is understanding and caring, so is the daughter.

Unless Ira herself was like Saanchi before or had some kind of frustration within her while raising her girl, there is no way that Saanchi can grow up into such a hostile and arrogant girl the way she is now.

Moreover, no mother will make faces like Ira did when dealing with her own daughter. She was never once shown to be taking her daughter into confidence and making her see sense.

May be Ira is just faking to be nice to ananadi with her plastic smiles.

Yes, as u said it makes us feel sometimes they are fake. But, as u know they had taken challenge that they will give all sort of happiness to anandhi.In that episode saanchi was not there i mean in the engagement episode. Reg. saanchi's behaviour i think she is having some disease so that the whole family members are not shouting at her. shayad heart mein problem ho saktha hai bcoz they r showing that character as blackhearted.

she just does not like her ... period.

She wants to find faults in her just like many members in the forum do not like pratyusha.. so they are unable to dissociate prats with Anandi.

And they start bashing Anandi because well

just because they don't like her.

No good reason.

if Anandi coughs.. they have issues

if she combs her hair they have issues

if she speaks english they have issues

So I think TM should ask the certain Sanchis we have in this forum to get a perfect reply.

They can relate to her psyche. I am surprised they have not made a Sanchi Appreciate thread yet and start putting her on a pedastal.

AKhir main they finally got their wish of someone like them being around Anandi. Hating her for no reason LOL even though they are educated. So worse than gawar people ...who atleast have the excuse of not being educated :)

I think the CVs come on this forum and see so many sanchi types.. and created the character sanchi ...getting inspired by them :)

Saanchi just does not like Anandi. There is no base and no reason. She has a prejuiced mind set and she has blinded herself from seeing realities. (positives)...

She also expected that when choosing a bride for Shiv, she will be consulted, but since that didn't happen, she is venting out all her anger on Anandi by humiliating her whenever possible.

@TM...i think sanchi does not like anandi and this is the simple reason! she hated anandi so she wants to make everyone hate anandi too!!...and for this reason she is trying to prove anandi is wrong, uneducated, cheap, not worthy of shiv etc etc..poor gal! sanchi is so poor that she is not able to realize it..that by doing all these things she is insulting herself & her family members only!!
