Hey Anita, thanks for posting a reply and please don't think of it as an interference since we all are here to discuss.I know people are going to hit me, but I am not touched by J-A convo. I would have appreciated if J came with a smiling face, handed the gift and wished her well. All those things he said about takleef, Shiv, A's memories to last him life time etc. was a bit too stretchy to me. I felt as if in the name of ending his past with A, he paved way to interfere in her life in future. I am left with an impression that J will interfere in A's life at some stage in the name of friendship. In my personal opinion I want to see J-A maintaining absolute distance, which i feel will not happen, because J knows how to use relations (friendship) for his benefits.
Anyways time will tell how the story unfolds, but this was the impression I was left with.
Regarding G, I completely agree that she was not genuine in her relationship either, but than J has not clearly ended with her either. I didn't like when he said that A's memories are enough to last him life time? What was his meaning? Does he really love A, or does he THINK he loves A, because G is no more good for him.
I am very happy that J is redeeming and back to Singhs, but I don't like him near Anandi. Sorry Ani, but this is just my opinion.
Esha 🤗, why are you being sorry? I enjoyed reading your take on it. Like I said even before, every one will have their own opinion about the J-G relationship and how they perceive it. J has always being a very confused and confusing character. In this confusion he has not only caused a problem in his life but has also caused a havoc in the life of his family. What I gather from his character sketch is that he always runs behind something which is new or what is not his and on the other hand doesn't value what he has. That's the reason he was attracted to G and now remembering his childhood 'love' A. Whether he loved any or both these girls only he knows or does he know? 😕😆
I agree with you that he has not given a decent closure to his relationship with G neither has she cared. All the same this cannot keep hanging all the time.
About the J-A convo. I liked it coz he sounded genuine. Him giving back the gift that A gave him, shows that he has accepted the fact that S is the right person for A and that he will no longer interfere in their life. He could have put a poker face and lured her in thinking that he is not affected by her marriage. But A and every one else is smart enough to understand what he is going through after his last attempt of getting her back in his life. So he was transparent and honest. I thought that attitude was respectful to the friendship they once shared. Albeit I agree with you that the dialogue of her memories being enough to last him a life time could have been totally avoided.
The impression that I have got in the past few episodes is that he has realized the importance of his family and will not do anything to put them to shame any longer. He has taken a lot of trouble to get them back so he might be careful hence forth. If the Cvs give another U turn to J's character, they will be making no sense out of the situation coz they will only be running around in circles.
With A, S and J living in Jaitser its impossible that their paths don't cross. Moreover its not possible for A not to keep in touch with the Singhs, hence the faster they all find a way to face these situations the better. It is going to be an uncomfortable and embarrassing situation but they need to find some middle ground. The best would be to draw a line and that neither of them interfere in the life of the other beyond a limit and this also applies to A and S.
