What they meant by parallel lead is that he will have his own love story. In another article they clarify that he will fall for the girl who likes shiv. This is not ekta serial where they will bring such twists. I think and hope cvs have more sense

dont worry the article just said that Mahi is a parallel. it didnt say that shiv will die. it probably means that Mahi will have his own love story

:) One fine day Jagya will also undergo plastic surgery change his face to Shiv's face and Gauri will also have a plastic surgery done and start looking like a real vamp - komalika for eg.

Then...After 5 years Anandi will discover that Mahi has an affair with Gauri, the new revamped vamp and that she will discover on their trip to Singapore where Gauri will be his mistress. Anandi will be broken again, but fear not. She will adopt the son of Mahi - Gauri who will become Anandi's kavach and who will look like Siddharth. Siddharth will fall in love with the kid Anandi would have had with Shiv who will be hidden from Mahi's family because she had the daughter out of wedlock before she got married to Mahi. Finally truth will come out and Mahi and Gauri's Son and Shiv and Anandi's daughter will be married. So..Anandi will be both Saas and Maa to Mahi's son. So...She will actually be ' Saas bhi meri maa thi"
