!It was AnSh ki Sagaai but, Shashank managed to steal the show this week I think. So, PROPS for HIM! All week we wondered how deep was J's remorse and what will he do after he arrives at AnSh ki Sagaai. Shashank portrayed J's semi-realization, inner struggle betwen Jagya & Jugat, and lastly the still Selfish Ladesar who lost everything but his selfish attitude really well. I abhor the character's conduct, but the Actor is Superb.

As for Surekhaji - she continues to awe me... be it her sharmili tevwar with Daddu demonstrating the agelessness of romance, the grand matriarch of Jaitsar, or the soft-hearted grandmother concerned about her lost Ladesar.

These two are definitely two of the best actors currently on Indian Telly.

And a shout to sharmila shiv... i mean Sid...hope you get to do more than look awestruck and smile next week varna that dopey dreamy look may get permanently set😛

Lastly, Pratyusha your smile lights up the room... and your eyes speak volumes.

Lovely post.

I LOVE Shashank because I HATED Jagya.

Surekha Ji a timeless actress.

Kudos to the rest of the cast and crew because it looked as if I was in a real sagaai and not one of the FILMY sagaai.

yes. i totally agree with you. even though i hate jagdish but shashank made me love the character also by his flawless acting. he is fabulous in every frame and what can i say about surekha ji. she is excillent.

Agree with u Anj.. Shashank is definitely a refreshing change.. he's not just a chocolaty face.. he's an actor who can actually act 😃 I just love his pleasant personality off-screen and at the same time hate the characters he plays on-screen.. and trust me its not an easy thing to achieve as most of the time we tend to blur the difference between reel and real..

Surekhaji is truly a legend.. and BV team is very lucky to have her as an integral part of their show 😃

Sid didn't get a chance to portray the varied emotions which Shashank got to till now.. but he's improving a lot.. am sure when the time comes he'll definitely prove to be an asset to BV😃

Pratyusha has beautiful and expressive eyes.. she uses them well to portray Anandi's dil ka haal 😳 she's probably one of the best amongst the 20 something pretty faces.. She can actually act unlike most of the others who r of her age..

Playing a negative character is not easy and Shashank has excelled in it. I think I liked the Jagya that was first introduced. He was way too cute..

I hope Sid gets to do more in terms of emoting. Up and until now he has done an awesome job being the strict guy with loads of attitude turning into a love struck yet level-headed kind of guy. Seeing his other previous shows and BV there is a remarkable improvement in his acting. So, hopefully he will stand up to the challenge in terms of acting.

I remember first seeing Surekaji in a serial on Zee TV in the 90s called Banegi Apni Baat. I loved her right from there. She is awesome !

Completely agree with you.

They took me away from ANSH sagai with their brilliant performances.

Shashank - It is difficult to believe that this is his first major acting assignment.

Surekha ji - She is one of the best actors we have today.

I never imagined that I could be moved to tears by DS. I had to try hard to control my tears when I saw those unshed tears in her eyes.

Superb post Anjana.

Shashank has truly done a gr8 job this past week.

As for Surekhaji..she is most definitely a timeless actress and portrays every emotion wonderfully.

Sid/Shiv really needs to have a stronger role in the show other than sitting looking like a love-struck puppy all the time. He is also a good actor...but is in need of a more power-packed role in this show.

Should also mention Bhairo...A very good actor and portrays any character with dignity and emotion.

All other characters are also very well portrayed by the actors.

All in all a good show (so far) and a good team of cast and crew...Well done BV and keep up the good work...

Shashank...you truly stole the sagai thunder this week!!! As much as we all were dying to see and hyperventilating at the thought of AnSh's sagai finally happening, you were definitely the star of the week😳 And Anjana put it best: "Shashank portrayed J's semi-realization, inner struggle between Jagya & Jugat, and lastly the still Selfish Ladesar who lost everything but his selfish attitude really well." Jagya held our attention ever second he was on screen!

I can never decide my true opinion abt Jagya as a character...he keeps oscillating between the relatively white Jagya and the more grey Jagat. One day he will fight the whole world to rescue Anandi from the goons...another day he will stoop down enough to blame her for Gauri's miscarriage...its like he has 2 alter egos - Jagya and Jagat...and Shashank portrays both effortlessly!!!

Abt Surekhaji...what can we say other than she is the best ever! With the change in storyline, Dadsa's character also has undergone a sea-change and she is as convincing as she ever was! She is the heart & soul of BV...the show drags whenever she is absent/out of focus
