I am very very disappointed with the episode. 20 mins of conversation between A and her mother and the CVs treated it so badly. I did not expect this from BV CVs at least. Instead of the emotional talk I would have appreciated Bhago trying to explain the importance of A to settle down again. I was hoping Bhago would have got a chance to meet Shiv after which her convincing A would have been with more of a conviction. Neither did they do that nor did they give Bhago sensible dialogues to explain the families reasons to see her settled. Bhago has always drilled the belief of "ladki sasural doli mein jati hein aur nikalti arthi mein" into A since childhood. Hence she would be the best to make her realize that there is nothing wrong in her dreaming of a new life and a new future with a deserving life partner. I would have appreciated the CVs if they would have included some thought provoking dialogues for A rather than making her emotionally forced to accept getting married to Shiv. In fact even if Bhago had to take a promise from A for her to marry Shiv would be acceptable (not whole heatedly) if she explained logically the reasons for the same. I just feel it was a waste to get Bhago into the picture if they could not exploit the track in a more sane and practical way. Sorry CVs but like I have appreciated the episodes that you have directed beautifully I can't help expressing my displeasure at a poorly treated track.

I wasn't concentrating on the episode at all because I was way too angry with DS.

@Bold: You did the right thing dear. Or else your blood would have boiled seeing the waste of an important track which could have been made a turning point of the drama along with spreading a very very important message. No one could have brought this message stronger than the mother of a wronged daughter.

Thanks for the prompt update and I hope you get well soon! 😊

Missed Shiv in today's epi...can't wait to see his reaction to all this. I think he will be angry that Anandi is being forced to marry him.

yes, this current bhago track was just given short shrift just like the asha-abhishek track.
even the Asha-Abhishek track could have been handled in a decent fashion, with shyam making madan singh see reason BEFORE the marriage, and asha being married off in a happy and decent environment rather than running away in the dark of night ... is this the message for an important widow re-marriage track? that widows should run away in the middle of the night if they want to get married
and they waste so many scenes again and again on this MBBS vs. jagya's job track ... just a couple of more days dedicated to asha abhishek would have really made it beautiful and sent a meaningful message about widow remarriage.
The bhago track also would have been more meaningful if she had met shiv even once before insisting that anandi marry him, and if she had given reasons to anandi about why she felt a second marriage was necessary -- i.e.
1. 99.99% of women who are abandoned eventually end up like the daayan lady with nothing to fall back on;
2. they may fall prey to anti-social elements -- so having a husband is a social protection mechanism
3. companionship
whatever else...
Instead she kept talking about how anandi should work hard in shiv's sasural to impress her new sasuma 🤢 and she should do all household chores with perfection so that her new mother in law is happy ... really 😡

Exactly Tinoo, I am just surprised how none of them even bothered to find out the reasons for A's hesitation or down right refusal. Come on, this is the basic thing they can do. But every one is only out to put their view and force her into it. Atleast understand her problem and reasons and then try to solve that rather than just forcing her.

I feel it is only Shiv so far who is thinking from her side, coz he did say that he doesn't want a forced marriage. I hope he at least brings out the fears from her. Although it should have been her mother to do that but sadly it wasn't.

But anita (note I did not put an h this time 😆)
hasnt bhago always been like that? what more can we expect from her?
when anandi after marriage at the age of 8 was being tortured by dadisa, she ran away on foot all the way from jaitser to bilaria ... and instead of cajoling or coaxing her to go back, bhago did not listen to anything or even ask her problems or soothe her. She just took anandi by the hand, dragged her back to haveli and dumped her in dadisa's charan and took dadisa's side... at the time it was lucky that sumitra was there to soothe the girl... but bhago did nothing in terms of even trying to understand what was happening.
when they were trying to send anandi to mumbai at the age of 22, and anandi told her mom that she did not want to go (because she was afraid of jagya and his abusive treatment) bhago never once asked anything about what was the problem... instead she refused to discuss this with anandi and curtly said "this is your beendhni dharm, you must go to mumbai"...
then she asked khajan to buy lots of colourful clothes for anandi to wear in mumbai ... and started making tiffins full of sweet and salty snacks for anandi to take to mumbai for kanwarsaa.. as if clothes and snacks were all anandi needed.
she completely shut out anandi and anandi's concerns ...
I think we are barking up the wrong tree if we expected bhago to do anything different today -- bhago is a mother, but she is not 'motherish' ... in terms of having the emotional intimacy with anandi.

To what extent should a mother go to make her daughter agree to her last wishes? Today,Bhago virtually drove Anandi to say yes to the proposal. And why so? Whose life is it ,anyway?

Why did Bhago not question Dadisa's wisdom in choosing a life partner for Anandi? Did she not choose Jagya once? And what was the outcome? How can a mother shut her eyes to this reality?

They are all too eager to get her married. But, no one ever asked her, what is it that you want? Circumstances were so over powering that poor Anandi had no other option but to agree. But,reflect on this point for a minute.

Do not scores of girls of our country give into parental pressure every now and then? And Anandi was no exception. It would have been better if she were an exception. But that I think would have been unrealistic considering the situation she found herself in. She did fight initially but, eventually had to give in.

it was a yes simply out of sheer despair.

Probably this was the situation which Shiv had worried about when he said to Dadisa not to pressurize her to get a consent. Once he comes to know that is what exactly happened, I would like to see how he reacts. In this mess that Anandi finds herself in, to me,he comes across as the only savior. I would like to see Shiv rise to the occasion and put forth his points strongly and unequivocally. Gentleman that he is, I expect him to save this poor girl from ultimate subjugation.

at the 'H' factor 😆. Sorry I get so finicky about the H 😆.

ur right tinoo, bhago has never tried to ask A about her feelings in the past. That's probably why A too is so secreative about her feelings and doesn't freely talk to anyone about them. But don't why i expected her to be a little more empathetic towards her feelings now that she is running high on guilt. i thought she might have realized these mistakes of hers. unfortunately the answer is no.

Only person who could talk sensibly and understands her fears is Bhairon Singh. They are not letting him talk. And the other person is Shiv .He is not in a position to talk.

yes Bhairon has always been the most reasonable character. unfortunately A has forced him not to talk to her about the matter. I get really irritated with this 'kasam' concept of these soaps. Its just not realistic.Who does all this in real life? bhairon or sumi should have put their foot down and tried to talk to A instead of giving into her kasam.

last hopes are from Shiv.
