Your favourite Anandi aka Pratyusha Banerjee may be shaking her leg on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, but back home in Jaitsar, her in-laws want her to marry Shiv. Will Anandi say yes?

The show Balika Vadhu will take an interesting turn soon. Ever since Shiv (Siddharth Shukla) arrived in Jaitsar, dadisa (Surekha Sikri) has her eyes fixed on him. She is very keen that Anandi (Pratyusha Banerjee) marries Shiv and as interactions between the two have increased, everyone now is dreaming of Anandi's marriage with Shiv, especially dadisa.

It's learnt that in the coming episodes, dadisa and family will throw a surprise birthday party for Shiv where they will directly put forth Anandi's marriage proposal to him. Shiv, who has already started liking Anandi, will agree to it. However, Anandi is completely clueless about this happening at her home. When Shiv's friend Ashima (Reena) congratulates Anandi on the same, the sarpanch will be left stunned and will not agree to marry Shiv.

Anandi too admires Shiv, but is hesitant marrying him and the reason is her fear of rejection. As a divorcee, Anandi feels that Shiv is doing her a favour by sympathizing with her.

Pratyusha Banerjee, who plays Anandi in the serial, tells a daily, "There is an interesting track coming up. You will have to watch it for yourself."
