Anandi refuses to settle down with Shiv in 'Balika Vadhu'-FT article

When things were looking all bright for the Anandi and Shiv to settle down in the show "Balika Vadhu", there comes a hitch. Viewers have seen that all the family members, including Dadisa, have begun to dream of getting Anandi married to Shiv.

Dadisa throws a surprise party for Shiv, on the occasion of his birthday. She directly pops the question of whether he is interested in getting married to Anandi. Shiv, who is in love with Anandi, will immediately give his consent for marriage.

But Anandi is clueless about the happenings. She comes to know about it only when she is congratulated by Ashima. Stunned, she refuses to accept the marriage proposal, leaving the members surprised.

The reason for her refusal is her fear of rejection, as she feels that Shiv is favoring her due to the fact that she is a divorcee and nothing else.

Well this is heartening ... and in that case, the refusal can certainly be reversed...

If she said no because she still felt that she is in love with jagya or because she wanted to focus on development of jayetsar, then it would be a completely different ball game... but if she says no because of fear of rejection, then it is perfectly okay.
