OS: Anandi's makeover !

Hi all,

I can't believe I am posting an OS. Until yesterday I didn't know what OS even meant ! I have always been a silent member just reading written updates for different serials. BV, I have been watching on and off but from May 15th I am completely hooked onto BV and this forum. I love reading all the discussions and I am kind of inspired to post an OS. I am not a writer. Please excuse me for any spelling and grammatical errors. My mother tongue is also not hindi but some dialogues are in hindi since I think they will have more effect.

will be waiting to read both positive and negative comments. Appreciate both.

New morning

Shiv in his track suit finishing his push ups and getting ready to run. He sees Anandi coming out of her jeep. He was not expecting her after yesterday's attempt to stop

Jyothi's marraige. He thought she would be taking care of Jyothi.

Shiv: Good morning Anandiji. Aap yahan ?

Anandi: Good morning Collector saab. Main subah ki sair ki aayi hi hoon. Ros ki tarah aaj bhi aa gayi.
Shiv: Maine aapko expect nahin kiya aaj.
Anandi: Kyun ?
Shiv: Maine socha aap Jyothi ke saath rahegi ,wo jo bhi kal jo hua uske baad.
Anandi: Aap hi ne kaha tha na ki hume sehath ka dhyaan dene chahiye zindagi mein kaisi bhi utar chadav aaye.
Shiv: smiles and nods.

Shiv starts to jog. Anandi in her Ghagra, necklace,bangles,payal and makeup also starts to jog. Shiv hears her bangles clinging and thinks Yeh anandi, itni bhari jewlery, ghagra pehne ke kyun aati hai ?why can't she wear a proper attire when she comes to excercise ? It must be so uncomfortable to jog. After few seconds, Main bhi kitna bewakoof hoon, anandi toh gao mein pali badi hain, so bachpan se hi aisi hi outfit mein rahi hongi always. But, still there is a place for everything. Kash Ashi hoti yahan toh use kehkar morning walk ka makeover karasakta main. But kya kare ? Kuch sochna padega... Maybe Dadiji ? Par unhe bhi kaise kahoon. Wo bhi bahut traditional hai. Unhe pasand nahi hoga. Main Anandi se kuch nahi kehsakta she might feel bad. And it gets very personal also. I can't do that. But, she got personal with me too, with her desi nuskas. 😊But, yeh ladkiya I don't know kya sochegi mere bare mein. Kisse baat karu ? 😕

Anandi on her last lap, while making a turn she slips and falls down. She thinks maybe she twisted her ankle. Shiv sees this and runs towards her and asks her what happened and asks if she is ok. She tells she slipped because her dress got stuck between her shoes.

Shiv: Aise kapde pehenegi toh ye hona hi tha.
Anandi: Stares at him
Shiv: Mera matlab hai, itni loose clothing.Mujhe galat mat samjega. Har jagah ki apni dress code hoti hai. Aapko bhi exercise karne waqt iske hisab se kapde pehna chahiye.
Anandi: able to get up on her own although she is still limping slightly.

Anandi gets into her jeep and goes home. She is thinking of what Shiv said. At home, DS is shocked to see A limping. She was waiting on A to get some info about AnSh chats

Dadisa: Arrey chori, kya hua?
Anandi: Kuch nahi dadisa. Jogging karte waqt paav pisal gaya.
Dadisa: Arrey Gehna, baraf lade. Anandi ka paav pisal gaya hain.

Bhairon also comes hearing that Anandi is hurt. D starts her interrogation on whether she met Shiv. Anandi tells yes and also tells them what Shiv told her about the proper

attire to exercise. Everybody thinking...

Bhairon supports Shiv's view.
Bhairon: Shiv bilkul teek keh raha hai. Hume Anandi ko aise nahin bejna chahiye.
Dadisa: Lekin gao mein kya sochenge ki hamari chori ko uss sher walo ki tarah kapde pehnke beja Kalyani devi ne. Nahin nahin.

Bhairaon asks Anandi to get up and go freshen up.

Bhairon: Masa aap samajh nahi rahi. Aap Shiv aur Anandi ko pass lane ke liye, Anandi ko subah ki sair ko bhej rahi hai. Shiv ke liye aap use dosre kapde mein dekhna nahin pasand karegi. Woh shehar mein pala bada hain. Use aise hi kapde pasand hoga jaise salwar kameez ya pant. Log kya kahenge ? Ab anandi hamari beti hain Bheendini nahin.Aur hum to uski shadi phir se karane ki koshish kar rahe hai. Humare kayalat itne badal gaye hai, phir kapade kya hain ? Aur who bhi ye nayi kapde toh sirf subah ki sair ke liye hai. Pura din keliye to nahi. Aur isme wo surakisth bhi hogi. Phir se nahi giregi.

Suddenly Dadisa's light bulb turns on and she gets excited.

Dadisa: Tum teek keh rahe ho Bairon. Shiv shehar ka chora hai. Use anandi ko shehar ki kapade mein dekhna pasand hoga.. :) Lekin pant shirt nahin. Mujhe ladka nahi banana hamari chori ko. Market chal ke acha salwar kameez karidlete hain.

Bhairon is happy seeing his mother all happy and excited for anandi

At night, DS goes into Anandi's room and gives her a bag.
Anandi: Kya hai Dadisa isme ?
Dadisa: Kolke dekh le.
A opens the bag and sees few salwar kameezs and is surprised.
Anandi: Ye kisliye ?
Dadisa: Kal se tu ise pehenke jana subah ki sair ke liye. Isse tu phir se nahi pisalegi.
Anandi: Lekin Dadisa iski kya zaroorat hai. Main savdhani se karogi to kuch nahi hoga mujhe.
Dadisa: Tu mujshe behas mat kar chori. Tu sirf isse pehenke jana. Kisi aur baat ki parishani mat lena. Aur sun, wo sab bhari gehna bhi pehen ki koi zaroorat nahin.

She gives some simple jewelery to wear and tells her not to go bare. Anandi and Dadisa hug.

Next morning, Anandi gets up and is a bit uncomfortable wearing the salwar kameez going outside. Dadisa is waiting for her downstairs. She is wondering what is taking her so long and if takes this long Shiv might leave. By then Anandi comes down feeling uncomfortable. Dadisa blesses her and tells her to go without any worries.

Shiv has finished couple of laps of jogging and is wondering why Anandi has not showed up yet. He thinks unke paav toh teek hai na. Ya phir maine jo kaha usse unko bura laga. No no maine aisa kuch nahin kaha ki bura lage.

At the end of his lap, he sees Anandi coming out of the jeep in a salwar kameez. He is shocked to see her in a different dress. No heavy jewelery, just single plain bangles on each hand, small ear studs and a small bindi. Her hair is tied up in a ponytail. She looked much younger. As she starts walking towards him he removes his gaze off her but notices that she is feeling a bit uncomfortable. He thinks mujhe aisa nahin dekhna chahiye. kya samjegi woh ki maine kisi ladki ko nahi dekha hain salwar kameez pehne huve. It is so rude. She puts her towel and bottle beside his bag and they exchange pleasantries and he is off to run. He didn't want to comment anything making her more nervous or uncomfortable in front of him. Anandi starts to run and she realises that it is so much easier to run in her new dress. She smiles to herself.

While Shiv is running,he thinks bohat acchi lag rahi aaj Anandi. Nahin janta tha Itni lambe baal hai unke and she looks so much younger. He asks himself Kal jo maine

kaha isse kuch effect aaya unpar ya phir koyi aur waja hai ? Whatever it is I am happy she atleast has a makeover for mornings ! :)
