The point is, as I and some others pointed out earlier, if Ashi had been Shiv's sis or cousin, why would he make arrangements for her stay? Won't she stay with him? Or perhaps his bungalow is too small?

He didn't make any arrangements for her stay in haveli. He just brought her there for having good homemade food as jaister doesn't have any restaurents and may dhaba there is not having quality food for a london returned gal.
