Anandi slaps Jagya and everyone is shocked. She tells Jagat that she has tolerated all his torture, but she will not accept a single word against her family. He may have no standards or morals to ask for his share, but she will not let that happen. She has nothing to lose, so she has nothing to fear. She tears up the propert papers. Everyone is shocked. Anandi tells Jagat that instead of threatening his own family, he could have asked for his right as a son, and Singh family would have given it to him happily. Instead, he is using cheap tactics and acting like a stranger. She will not let her family compromise or accept defeat in front of anyone, especially because of her.
Jagat is super mad and tells Anandi that she has insulted him and is standing in the way of his happiness yet again, but this time he won't take it lying down. He challenges Anandi that he will never divorce her and he won't show up for any of the court proceedings. Anandi seems unfazed and tells him that such a cheap thought and reply is what she expected out of him. She tells Jagat that she will still go to court the next day, but not for divorce hearing, but to file a case against Jagya. Jagat-Gauri are super shocked. Anandi reminds Jagat that legally she is still his wife, so she has every right to file a case against Jagat for marrying Gauri, and no matter what he says, legally and socially his marriage to Gauri is illegal and she will declare this in court. Katora couple (Thanks Ankit!) are shocked and speechless. Anandi leaves with her family.
At night, Anandi serves dinner to everyone. DS tells her that she knew Anandi would be upset learning about Jagya, so she hid it from her. Anandi tells DS that she is not affected by all this. Most of her marriage she has been alone, now too she will be alone, but only in her marriage, not in life. She tells Singhs that they are her strength. After she goes inside Basanth wonders if Jagat will show up the next day. Bhairav has no faith. DS prays to God to give him atleast enough sense to show up in court.
In the guest house, Gauri is brain-washing Jagat full time about how Anandi is standing between them and happiness. She blames Anandi for interfering and stopping the money. Jagat doesn't seem to care about any of this. He is very mad about Anandi slapping him. He vows to take revenge by not divorcing her come what may. He doesn't care about property. He only wants to torture Anandi by never releasing her from her past. Gauri thinks to herself that she is losing from all ends. She tells Jagat that they should only focus on getting divorce from Anandi. Then after that they can file a case against Singh family for property. Jagat is not convinced and vows to not divorce Anandi. Gauri is worried.
The next day Singh family wait for their turn and are worried that Jagya is not there. Just then Jagat and gauri show up. Everyone goes inside.
Precap : Judge asks Jagya and Anandi if they are sure they cannot work out their marriage. Both agree they can't. Both of them sign petition papers
