Hello readers! We thank you for the overwhelming response to our new series ''Dr. Jagat's Guide to Life'', by Dr. Jagat, Jetsar's anytime-anywhere- all purpose doctor! Today, Dr. Jagat shares information about the significance of shifty eyes!
Dear Dr. Jagat: ''I am the mother of a 12 year old boy. Dr. saab of late I have noticed his eyes tend to get shifty most of the times, especially when someone talks to him or asks a question. Is it some disorder? Is there some problem in his eyes? Please tell me what treatment should we get him?''
- Kaushalya, Jetsar
Dr. Jagat: ''Gani khamma Kaushalya madam! No no you're absolutely mistaken. Look, shifty eyes is not some disorder or problem. It is nothing to worry about. In fact it shows that your son has a very active mind.
In my practice I have observed that shifty eyes indicate a mind that is forever ticking, vigorously processing all information in stimuli and synthesising past, present memories and information to produce new thoughts and ideas. It is a process of superior ''hypercognition''.
