Balika Vadhu was an interesting and sweet story, but has now become an ugly and sordid story. What a MESS! Jagya's and Gauri's character have been soiled, and the earlier spunky Anandi -- who was quick to assert her rights -- has not been doing so.

How can they bring back the show to its earlier elements?

1) Bare Papa -- the Judge -- should enter the picture quickly. He should inform Gauri and Jagya that their marriage is not legal at all, since Jagya has not divorced Anandi.

2) Jagya will not divorce Anandi. Gauri realizes this and vents her frustration on Anandi -- causing Jagya to finally open his eyes.

3) Gauri should be removed from this show as soon as possible -- she is like a poison. She does not appear educated at all and looks like a fake DAAACTAAR.

4) With Gauri's removal, the show can proceed in many directions...Anandi could become a doctor. Jagya's character can be shored up...they can have kids...etc. etc.

5) The critical component is to REMOVE this nasty and selfish Gauri from the show ASAP.

First of all , more than Gauri, J is MORE shameless!

First he leaves A and marries Gauri willingly; infact it J who convinced G of his love and not the other way round.

Secondly - if J and Anandi reunites then what message will the serial give? That child marriage is good in one way because when a person marries after being adult, a strong relationship can't grow as people become more egocentric and strong headed?

J and A cannot reunite - for the obvious reason - J and A's personality, mentality and perspective towards life are completely different!

That's the curse of the child marriage - u have to stay with a person even if two individuals are poles apart.

If j and g stay together then the show will promote infidelity and give right to all village boys to go out and find educated girls and divorce the uneducated wives.
CVs need to address this issue of infidelity. J and G need to be separated and thats final.

Jagya is shameles...he has been this way for a long time.

The fact is that Jayga was married to Anandi as a child AND as an adult. He did not divorce her. Gauri has no role and no business being in this story. I dislike her character intensely and think she should be removed from the show.

The show will not promote infidelity. Instead, it will show that when a person chooses his or her life partner after being adult, the person's choice is more correct as he/she knows what is he/she wants in life and what kind life partner they have in mind.

J, despite all his flaws, have one arguement in favor of him - Why would he try to do everything to save his marriage when he himself has not decided to marry A? Yes, after being adult, J and A stayed together but that was because they were married in childhood.

It's not that - J had forgotten everything and after growing up he chose to have an relationship with A without the knowledge that they are married. In their childhood, A had developed a strong friendship and since J knew that A is his wife, he could not think of deviating from the social norm at the age of 18-19.

After A came back to haveli, it was quiet clear that there is a major difference of opinions and personality between them. A always listened to J's wish as she considered their marriage to be her life. But it was after going to Mumbai, J realized what he really wants in life and what kind of life partner he wants. Even at 18-19, a person is not matured enough to decide what kind of life partner one wants. It is after facing with the responsibility of oneself and of family, that one gets a clear picture.

In marriage, two people commits for lifetime. But why would two individuals will go out of their way to fulfill the commitments which were not made by them but made out of evil social norm?

If J and A remains together, then the show will only emphasize the sanctity of marriage - no matter on what circumstances the marriage was done.

The show has become quite silly. Their is no "social" message being relayed here -- just how Jagya became even more deceitful and cunning.

Gauri is not the right person for this show. She depicts the same qualities as Jagya -- how to move ahead at anyone's expense and then try to snatch other rights.

Cuckoo personalities, who show zero resemblance to any reality. The show even forgets the day and age -- despicable that the "beendni's" have to eat from a jhoota plate. It would be another thing if they even shared the same plate, but the jhoota business is gross!

I think the best solution is...
Since child marriage has not always been a failure like in case of Sumitra and Bhario... and since JaAn were in love.. infact Anandi still loves Jagya so I think the story should twist where Jagya realises Annadi's worth and love and wants to come back, but it is difficult for Anandi to have him back.
CVs should show the difficulties and trauma in one's life due to child marriage. The onlly reason when in future JaAn will reunite is because of open minded Bhairo who let Anandi study further and Anandi who can sacrifice and at the same time stand for herself.
For Gauri since both her marriages are not legal... she should after the panic move on realising her mistakes.

Please also note that Jagya's character has degenerated -- he commits to nothing. He ditched his wife, his family, his self-respect. Previously, he stole, lied, cheated...and was also pathetic in his studies. He got some sort of a medical degree, but is only interested in treating rich Mumbai patients. Seems that this character is low, deceitful and a shifty character without a backbone.

Add another hustler like Gauri to the equation -- and the cast of village idiots is complete.

O yes, Jagya is just waiting for the next best thing to come along. Mere to unplanned "love ho gaya" is too weak and too stupid. Even his friend from the gaon had better sense.
