awesome annika20 .. makes up for the times u were silently observing.. on word count u certainly can match the goldie members or whatever they call themselves. i dont think the anandi effect is contained within girls raised in rural india.. it happens eveywhere. whenever u meet a soul trodding human ready to step on another person to look good for other people.

I havent followed BV from start.. jst in bits and pieces.. bt the way you have protrayed Anandi is really gud.. its sad and actual fact of life how ppl around u or situation makes you.. bt thn.. its your inner character tht saves u... some persons have an inner thing to bounce back from worst of situations.. and I find it in Anandi...
its enuf.. she has to think abt herself.. and stand for herself.. thrs lot of support in the family.. if DS and J are using her.. she too can use thm for her own betterment..
bt the thing tht hinders most of women to take such a bold step is fear of insecurity and loss of support.. emotionally and financially... and the sense of attachment, duty, and love they have for their family members.. women have these in-built quailities of being nurturing.. preserving.. adjusting.. tolerating.. coz its how God have made thm.. these r the qualities tht make them Women distinct from men.. not just physical attributes.. may b for evolution.. or sustainence of life of human sepicies on earth.. watever may the reason b.. but if God have made them different and distinct and unique.. thn y this discrimination.. y this stereotyping... women shud embrace themselves for wat they r.. and stop comparing themselves to men.. you know women have this quality of being adaptive, egoless, hardworking, and very skillful.. its wat makes the men insecure..😆.. they cannot do wat women can do.. i think they shud rise for themselves.. and I hope Anandi does just tht.. women can always bouce back bcoz women r more strong mentally thn men... be practical wen need b.. be sentimental wen need b.. b brave wen need b.. coz its how they r made by God.. and so instead of crying for the losses they shud make gud use of their resources at hand.. 😆..
I hope Anandi forgives and FORGETs J.. and moves on with her life.. crying on spilt milk wont change a thing..

Anamikaji a very patient and truly awesome analysis of Anandi's character and the circumstances which made her what she is today🤗.

People worship Goddess Sita for her great sacrifice, tolerance and courage❤️

Strangely😲 when a normal human being exhibits these noble qualities of being tolerance, sacrifice and courage they are very sadly called dumb, useless and not worth living even😒🤢. I think we have to blame the ghor kaliyug we are living in🥺

Thanks...

Look, Sita mata bhi toh aakhir kaar dharti mein samaa gayi thi na! It's not like she kept putting up with crap in her life all the time!

Anandi has to react some way, some time. Being a punching bag is no culture or sign of values.

Sorry for writing really lengthy posts! Still, thanks a lot for responses.😊

I only wanted to elaborate how Anandi is not being exactly an ideal, typical Indian woman - the conventional Sati Savitri and neither is she boring, dumb or dull. She (and almost 99% women in the world, especially Asia & Africa) are products of systematic subjugation and gender stereotyping. Culture, religion, custom and all that blah are merely weapons to make girls dance to the patriarchal society's tunes!😡

I don't say that Anandi should move out of the house or forget all about J. I am only apprehensive about BV turning into a triangle/quadrilateral type masala show (like some other shows on the same channel!).🤢

I don't say Anandi should quickly become a lawyer/IAS officer/activist/doctor (whatever!) and I know how much stigma is attached with the married woman leaving her in-laws house. Sadly, our society finds fault only with the girl and believes there must be some fault with the girl herself or that the girl is an unlucky wretch! No one considers her plight! 😭

But the cvs must focus on Anandi only, for most of the time. Yesterday's episode was basically about Anandi. I hope we get to see more episodes like that. Instead of episodes which are all about the Singh family or J-G while Anandi is shown for 4 minutes sitting in a corner of her room!

In the past also, there were serials about infidelity, such as Kora Kaagaz or Saans. But these shows focused only on the protagonist of the show. They showed the characters' suffering and dilemma, but it was never that the episodes were mostly about the husband's affair or the ''other woman'' whereas the lead was shown only huddled in a corner of her room for 4 minutes!

I'd say, more than the members of the Singh family or anyone else talking about Anandi, I would prefer to see Anandi thinking about her life - her dreams or her misfortunes, as in yesterday's episode.

I also hope that Singh family handles her properly and in a more sane way, rather than offering to take her outside for a change or hugging her all the time!

As much as I would love to see J or G realising their folly, feeling guilty about their actions, I hope we get to see A more than these two! Other characters, barring A, have had whole episodes, for weeks, dedicated mostly to them! I want to see A - her life (be it suffering or moving on), rather than the whole focus being shifted on J or G's realisations or insecurities! Their problems should take a backseat, we want more of Anandi just like yesterday's episode!!

I also hope, Anandi never reunites with Jagya. Otherwise, it will be proven that child marriages are okay after all and girls need not be educated since only uneducated and subjugated girls make the ideal wife or DIL! It will be like, ''haan thodi bahut problem aayi thi...phir badon ke tajurbekaar tareekon se sab theek ho gaya!''🤢

I didn't even like Gehna patching up with Basant and finally accepting him. Their settlement only proved that be-mel vivah is okay after all and after having a kid, the woman simply forgets that her kid was the outcome of marital rape and not consensual sex!

So far, no child marriage or bemel vivah has been shown to totally fail in BV, at least one child marriage should fail and fall apart completely to show child marriage as an evil! Lal Singh living happily with his wife despite being educated hints that J-G-A issue is more about J's faulty upbringing and unchecked pampering, rather than a bad effect of child marriage!

I wish they never re-unite J and A. But please don't rush and bring a new guy for her yet. I hope A slowly tries to pick up broken pieces and rebuilds her life, and becomes a beacon of hope or change agent for other women like her. After that, impressed by her inspirational story and guts, some new guy can be shown getting besotted with her!

Just give A her full due as the heart and soul of BV!

My comment in bold red above was a general comment 😛. I dont watch this soap at all. I watched it last when Anandi was coping as a child with the love care affection and support of Jag n his family against the tyrst with destiny

Yeah Annika whatever u said is true. And I completely disagree with the saying that Sita mata Tolerated or sacrificed that's why she is being worshipped. When and what did she was exiled but r v there to see that?? When she was kidnapped by Ravan, he was punished. Don't we hear in almost every other movie that' Itihaas gawah hai ki jab bhi kisi naari ne aansoo bahaye hain anyaya hone par tab tab wahaan mahabharat hota hai..aur dusto ka vinaash hota hai.. Jaise Ravan aur kaurav ka hua??
Anyway v r not here to discuss Sita Mata or Draupadi. V r going to discuss A..
Yes I also don't want to see A as bichari type bahu. She should think that ye mere saath hua kyonki maine ye hone diya type of attitude. Phir ab main bhi padungi sirf apne liye.
It is hard for her to get married wid some other man than J bcoz of the mentallity and her upbringing. She should teach J a lesson that being a Woman she is not less or helpless bichari.. That is very true that woman is stronger than a man. If they know to scrifice then they also know how to turn into Chandi or Kaali if needed??
Yes ur point is absolutely correct that they shouldn't focus that much on Sugna n Shyam's family and also on Gehna. Gehna had no choice; 1st she was not educated, 2nd wid son no man would have accepted her.
I don't know may be I am wrong bcoz I have no idea about India. I came from a very conservative community of Mithila (From the place of Sita mata)- I am a Maithil brahmin. I am surprise to see how things have changed over the years. SO they are not conservative anymore. Things are changing.
Yes we all want to see A in action now. Yes.. She should think about her future,

Concentrate on her eduction, make herself independent.

I was fed up watching Shyam- sugna problems that's why stopped watching from July 2010. (when sugna had miscarriage). Iwasn't interested of knowing Sugna's future or relation.
But now I want to see what they r going to show??
