I am new to this forum, but as far as the serial goes, I watched the first few weeks of it, until after Anandi's marriage, and DS was so insufferable that I stopped watching, until last week, when the special episode of Jaggu marrying Gauri surfaced.
I know DS has changed her attitude towards Anandi, but for me, that doesn't earn her my forgiveness. As far as I go, she's as ugly in the inside as on the outside, and nothing that she does for Anandi from here on will change that. Keep that in mind as you read on - I'm not someone remotely sympathetic to this excremental specimen of human debris.
I sooo wish DS had kicked the bucket!!! What I couldn't stand was Anandi staying & sobbing over her condition. Now the bad news - not only does DS survive😡, but she even gets to continue her evil ways.
Regardless of what Sumitra told Anandi, I want the latter to leave. First of all, Sumitra told Anandi that she was still the Beendni of the house b'cos it was Jaggu who had broken it off, not her. Doesn't matter - fact remains that Anandi is no longer married, and no longer has any business staying in this house. As shameful as it may sound in TV land, she should pack up and return to her maayka. After changing into normal, unmarried make-up (lose the m-s, etc). Oh, and one thing - please DONT make her pregnant w/ Jagya's kid (like Jyoti was) - that would make the serial unwatchable once again. Just create a new chapter in Anandi's life altogether. And NEVER re-unite her w/ Jagya, NO MATTER what!!! That is why, even if DS is playing some new game to make Jagya guilty and go back to Anandi, I still loathe her. Simple reason - if Anandi succeeds in moving on beyond Jagdish, it doesn't help if he is influenced into sticking to her like a leech. The split needs to happen!
If Anandi told Jaggu that she still loves him in order to make him feel guilty, then fine, but I don't want her to be like another Jyoti like w/ Jyoti-Pankaj after their divorce. She has rationalized the split on the basis of child marriage: she needs to follow thru and leave, and forget this family like a nightmare. I don't think she should try to be a doc, and besides, given the break she had in her studies, she should resume studying, but have a goal that's more modest but achievable. Work in something like the Marcom or HR of an organization or company, preferably nearby in Jaipur or Gurgaon. This gives her the opportunity to become financially independent more quickly, and even live alone, which is preferable to her living w/ her parents who married her off so early
As far as Bairon & Sumitra go, granted that they, as well as Gehna & Sugna have been supportive of Anandi. However, since they couldn't stand up to Kalyani & Basant, that support was not only worthless, but counter-productive, since it encouraged Anandi to remain in that destructive enviroment where Basant & Kalyani remain. Anandi needs to point this out to them, just as she pointed out the child marriage, and sever ties w/ ALL of them. I don't like her doing arati for them any more - she should refuse to do anything there, and just LEAVE FOR GOOD. Tell them that she hold them responsible for her pathetic state, and that they are just preventing her from moving on w/ her life. If she delivers the message in that way, I doubt Sumitra, for instance, would dare tell her that she's still their daughter.
In the real world, Anandi could probably make it on her own, but that would make for really boring TV, so I guess they'll need to have her re-marry. They should bring in a new guy for her (my choice: Naman Shaw) and have him encourage her and support her in standing on her own feet (like Kabir did Jyoti). I also hope that this guy doesn't have his own sasuralesque zoo, where Anandi will encounter a fresh set of enemies, but is just a place for her to live happily ALONE w/ the guy i.e. her hubby should be the only person in her sasural. They should have him come into her life, teach her how to be independent, encourage her to pull out of Kalyani's zoo and sever relationship w/ them, and finally marry her. You want to show some gussa-pitta stuff, do it w/ Gaga.
From that standpoint, I think Kalyani asking Gaga to stay is good, provided Anandi LEAVES, and doesn't indulge in a self destructive moping over seeing them together. But if her goal is to get Jaggu to appreciate Anandi, I DO NOT want Anandi to co-operate w/ her and enable that to be successful. I want her to tell Kalyani, like Gauri did, that she's responsible for her miserable existance from day 1 of her marriage, and that she doesn't want to be around her any more.
It's a perfectly legitimate thing to ask.
