I am not aware of a matriarchal family system in that part of Rajasthan. Are any of you. Must ask my husband who studied in Ajmer.

Why blame Bhairon - he also must be tired fighting Maasa all alone - was hoping Jagya will come in picture in these matters now but he's living his own hell - sigh!

I think if a character fights for right over wrong it really does not matter if he or she is alone. I mistakenly thought that Bhairon fell into that category.

Gehna has proved that very well as she has rarely had any help but still continues to fight on by herself.
