At MS mansion, Varun plays with his kite spool and RS comes there and yells at him. Varun talks nicely to RS but he shoves Varun and tells him to get lost. Varun takes his kite and goes to the terrace (RS left the terrace door open) Varun waits on the terrace for the rain to stop. After the rain stops, RS goes to the terrace to feed the pigoens.
Suguna who had dozed off hears Varun calling out to her. She starts looking for him everywhere and goes up to the terrace. She trips on the bird feed. Just then she hears a servant calling her and runs down. She misses RS who hides and runs down to his room. The servant brings Varun's limp, unconscious body inside. Suguna starts screaming. The servant tells her and Thaisa that he saw Varun fall off the terrace. Suguna starts crying. RS pretends to come out of his room just then and orders the servant to get the jeep ready.
At Maasa's haveli, MS's servant come there with Shagun and tells them abt Varun. Everyone goes to the hospital, leaving Gehna to take care of the kids. At the hospital, RS cries and approaches Shyam who is crying. He apologises for treating Varun badly in the past and that he is equally worried about him. MS tries to console Shyam. RS expresses concern over Varun and Suguna's plight. He looks away with an evil expression.
Maasa and co. arrive. Suguna starts weeping at seeing her mother. Just then the doctor comes there to tell them Varun's spine needs surgery. Everybody panics and create a big hullaballoo if surgery is required. Shyam finally tells the doctor to go ahead. Suguna comes to RS and asks him if he didn't feed the birds on the terrace today. RS refutes this, but Suguna asks how the bird feed was on the terrace then...
Precap : Shyam yells at Suguna to stop blaming RS because she was the one who was careless enough to leave the terrace door open.
PS : Oh my god, you should have seen how everybody panics upon hearing "OPERATION". I know a lot of people in India are still anxious over surgeries, but it was a little over the top for me, maybe its natural to others.
