Dadisa; to strict?

Dadisa comes from a day and age when girls as young as 8 were expected to marry, look after their families, houses and prepare for children.

Actually dadisa dont want to change.. she wants every1 shd go according to her... and dont see tht the time has changed..

even today many ppl of dadisa's age.. says so... tht in our time we used to this and tht but wht r u all doing now......

i think she is a woman who wants to take control of everything. her words are like paththar ki lakeer. she neither wants advice nor wants to change her views for anyone. all her judgements are seems to be based on what she herself went through as a daughter in-law. mayb if she had a good saas like sumitra then she wouldnt be this strict on anandi.
at the moment her rules will be imposed in that house but when anandi gets older maybe we will get to see a change of maasa's character. at the moment my feelings for her is fluctuating depending on her behaviour in each episode. so in short she is woman who was brought up with certain traditions and values which she doesnt want to compromise on.

One thing is funny about dadisa is that she tells the informer not to tell anyone anything and then her sons go round the village and ask if they have see anandi. They even go and inform the police. Strange.... Ab toh pure gaon main pata chalega

Secondly Dadisa was telling a story that when she was eight years old her saas told her to to make kheer then she didn't know what is the difference between sugar and salt. didnt her mother not teach her how to make food? that she expected anandi to learn from her mother and even taunts her.

Thirdly, dadisa told sumitra how dare anandi put bangles for a widow when she herself being a widow wears big necklace and kadhai. woh bhi ek bangle hai.That is allowed.

When dadisa became a widow she must have been a manhoos that her husband died. woh bhi anpne pati ko kahi hai. but still she has the daring to say she wont bring any manhoos for wife for tauji.

Dadisa should have her own limit. She should not cross her limit. She has played her role and now she should not meddle in affairs of her sons family. It will definitely break up. Kyun saas bhi kabhi bahu thi...

dadi has gone throgh the same and so her mind set is fixed with that time period!she doesnt want to change with the time.she want everyone to go by her way!she takes each and everything on herself and thinks about the profit about the family buhhh which according to her would be only possible if everyone follows what she says!
