Banjh is a woman who does not become pregnant, it is used derogatorily to insult women who do not have children.

This is a brilliant show... i absolutely love it. Its so gripping yet also emotional, very well written and very well directed.

since the motto of the show is 'child marriage is a curse' so i have doubts, if they show anything sweet and positive thru end , coz it . it would be really a fairy tale story and like they are encouraging child marriage.

well i don' think dat by showing sum cute scenes between the two will in anyway encourage child marriage..d problem is not whether d kids will be happy together..the problem is dat both r not prepared physically or mentally for a huge commitment like marriage and the expectations of the whole family which comes with it
i know sum old couples from my native who were married off when dey were kids..and frankly most of them r happy too and still much in love...but if u ask them..even dey won't support child marriage...

I've fallen for Jagdish!☺️😆......The underlying theme of Balkhi Vadhu is something I've never seen on TV before and so far the actress playing Anandi has done an amazing job....the cultural setting is also interesting [P.S. Is it just me or is Rajasthani background becoming increasingly popular on Indian TV?]....
I'm actually looking forward to seeing how Jagdish and Anandi will come with their marriage......as long as they don't kill each other first!😆

no nibbles its not just you!! traditional rajasthani music is indeed getting popular on indian tv....eg : Prithviraj Chauhan, DharamVeer..

@ topic: i love thiss show !! however, i dont know if the directors motive of abolishing child marriagae will happen as many ppl in the rural areas have colors channel😕
