Guys, I think Supriya Kumari's charm is her chirpiness and her laughter, both of which were rarely required in the Amoli role in BP.
Wouldn't it be a better idea - while considering ideas for BP2 - to ensure her character's personality will this time utilize her strongest plus points to the fullest?
Somewhat like the title character in 'Geet' on Star One.
An Amoli, capable of being intense and serious, but usually bubbly.
Supriya looks delightful in the latter mood, and a characterization which would showcase her to the best advantage would be yet another way to strengthen BP2 as a concept and a pitch.
Any opinions, BPians? Please?

For me BP has always been a reality based harsh show and I would like a BP2 to be on similar grounds,
If you guys refer to what I wrote in the thread Some thoughts on BP and in hope for BP2.
Amoli's toughness and fighting spirit were the main reasons for Digvijay to change himself from being a devilish Thakur to a considerate person.

This aspect, if missing from Bairi Piya, will ruin the very essence of the saga.
A chirpy character can only suit a show with intense romantic drama like Geet, Hui Sabse Parayi, not a reality based fiction like Bairi Piya where the Piya (beloved) should have to be the Bairi (rival) as well

Totally agree with u leelaa, Supriya is a very bubbly & energy-filled girl, who enjoy's whatever life has got to offer to her to the fullest. We have seen her as her true self in shows like Kitchen Champion-2 & Nachle Ve. But we didn't get to c this character in her as Amoli in BP. It will be soooo fun to watch her if her character in BP-2 will be like that! After watching so much of her very serious, fighting & tough nature in BP, I feel a li'l change is acceptable in her. 😃 And why not when it's gotta match DV's character which has now changed to being witty at times?😉

Exactly, Indu. I mean, when she laughs, it can get others smiling. She radiates warmth in that manner. Seeing the chemistry between her and DV further enhanced by her charm at its fullest will be an absolute delight.

well if BP2 was a continuation of BP 1 the they can incorporate the funny and witty scenes ...like its in Odhni , they can show DV trying to make Amoli say I love you to him and theycan have small fights and all that stuff

We all have various facets to our personalities, so why not Amoli?
Having to constantly endure a rabble-rousing, vicious, angry Amoli could become tiresome.
Creating a different lighter aspect to her persona, might just help to stave off monotony & could very well bring in a newer audience too.

@nikkie...."For me BP has always been a reality based harsh show and I would like a BP2 to be on similar grounds"

nikkie, in order to break barriers & reach a wider audience, the 'Reality' needs to be tempered down & wrapped around a melodrama otherwise it ought to be aired as a documentary not a soap opera.
With the far-flung reach of TV today, soap-operas have taken over where street theatre left off in putting forth a social message. The difference being, people stuck around to watch the ending of a street play, where as with TV, if the show becomes to 'preachy' or makes you squirm for any reason, you simply change channels & find something more 'entertaining' to watch.
Probably 1 reason why BP didn't fair too well.
