Wow! what can I say about Bairi Piya, in the commencement I thought it was another average dull Indian dram with factors of murder, violence with some aspect of romance which seem to be the case used in almost all Bollywood block buster's films and also in Indian soaps .Viewers like myself simply adored the show right from the first episode which back dated 21th September 2009 last year.

There was more of a wider range of themes for viewer for both Pakistani and Indian nationalities instantly in the first few weeks of this incredible show. Bairi Piya deals with the problems faced by the poor peasants of Vidarbha region of Eastern Maharashtra and how the daughters of the poor are forced into harsh and unrespectable conditions .Women Rights is a central theme with a young girl Amoil, who has become a victim; the practice of taking young girls to fulfill landlords upmost unnecessary 'needs' and 'requirements'.

And he would simply do anything to for fill his 'chal' , and trap them like pieces on a chess board , nothing will seem to stop him not even his mother ,who he simply will do anything for her except change his 'ways' in his 'working life' also his wife who loves him more than her Bhagwan but seem to be hidden from the real working of her husband outside the family home.

The show really shows aspects of real life, things which are still happening all over the world mostly in Asia. Due to the shows astounding rating it has become an international success, stretching its roots from Asia to Europe, Africa and the united states .This wide spread shows how the fan base has had a huge impact on many people .The show perhaps increased interests of knowing about their Asian culture with the younger generations also learning and understand Hindi a bit more.

Furthermore the main roles played by Sharad Kelkar 'Thakur Digvijay Bhadoria' and Supriya Kumari 'Amoil' also the other roles of the other such as : Puniet , Radha, Urmila , Chandan and even Thakur's mother ,who was the biggest motivation for her son throughout the show .Theses Characters brought enthusiastic enlightens to the show with their exceptional acting which was one of the main reason that actually hooked the heart of viewer as well as the storyline .

The show was on an all-time high when, color's decided to take the show off air, train racking the passion for many fans. It was simply an outrage! Simply disgusting. To make matters worse the the rushed ending of the show has shaking the foundations of Bairi Piya and for its fans.

We strongly want second sequel to the show as we are standing to gather amplifying the voices of millions around the world!!

We strongly demand for a second sequel!!

One thing we DON'T understand why was the show taken off air in the first place?

Ermm... Because Asvini Yardi feels that when people want to see a show, one should take it off air.
People in the TV industry and outside of it have long suggested that as a policy, but no one has previously been... was it naive or arrogant or both... enough to actually give that as a reason for axing a show.

To an extent, Leelaa it does work......leave people craving for more....
But if taken to an extreme, as Colors seems intent on doing, they would have to face the consequences of an infidel audience. Loyalty as with everything else, is a two way street.

Har har BairiPiyaFan... I agree. Loyality is a two ways street. When ever I have to browse by the colors channel, I just want to talke my remote and hurl it at the TV. Idiots....

Great post Zanraj...There are really bad things happening from adult bondage to sale of children... it is a horrible world out there and they could have used this show as a vehicle to address at-least some of them. One of the story lines could have been the hurdles Takhur and Amoli had to face while dealing with the ignorance/ blindness of the general population….
