The audience has already seen the entry of Sunanda Devi, played by Vaishnavi. Amoli's mother is related to Sunanda, due to which Amoli is taken into the rich Thakur family.
The Pundir family has a big family tree and tonight's episode will introduce many new characters in the show.
Telly Buzz gives a brief on the new characters.
According to our source, "Viraat Pundir and Rohini Pundir are the patriarchs of the Thakur family. Harshwardhan Pundir (played by Manoj Bhaskar), husband of Sunanda is the younger brother of Viraat. Noted actor Pawan Chopra essays the role of Viraat, and Kanika Chaddha will play his wife Rohini".
"Aham Sharma who was last seen in Imagine's Chand Ke Paar Chalo will play the role of Nirbhay, one of the sons of Viraat Pundir. Neeta Shetty who was seen in shows like Tum Bin Jaaoon Kahaan, Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann will be Nirbhay's wife, Surbhi. New face Ritwik Dhanjani will essay the role of Viraat's second son, Prithvi. This guy's wife will be Rashmi, to be played by known actress Pallavi Subhash Chandran. Sunanda's daughters Ankita (Sandhya Soni) and Sanchita (Neha Gehlot) have already been introduced", informs our source.
Aham Sharma confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I play the dutiful son of the house. It's a very soft and sweet character. I can reveal only this".
Neeta Shetty who essays the role of Aham's wife in the show will have a negative shade to her character. The actress who has been introduced in the last few episodes, has got a very different look too. "All refer to me as Badiya Bahu, as everything in me is 'Badiya'. Surbhi, the character I play has the grace, elegance and poise, and carries an attitude", tells Neeta Shetty.
When asked about the decision for taking up a negative role after all the good roles that she has played, Neeta Shetty stated, "There is an element to perform more when you have to be bitchy. You need spontaneity too when you perform a negative role".
We tried calling Pallavi Subhash Chandran, who plays the second bahu of the house, but she remained unavailable.
As per our source, "The story will now focus on Amoli and her efforts to get close to every member of the family".

COLORS Bairi Piya, produced by Balaji Telefilms has already seen a major twist with the death of Radhe, which has left Amoli (Supriya Kumari) shattered. Amoli has now moved to Meerut to start her life afresh, and this where she gets into the Pundir family.The audience has already seen the entry of Sunanda Devi, played by Vaishnavi.
