Hey everyone,

I am Poroma, I live in Sydney, I am a huge fan of Hindi and Bengali serials. I was quite active some time back on India Forums but then slowly started losing interest in Hindi serials as there was nothing interesting to watch and everything was kind of repetitive. But can I say after quite some time Badho Bahu" has caught my attention. I am in love with this show I find the concept of the show quite interesting and important to look into, the concept of being overweight.

I really like Komal's character, I find her sensitive but really strong from within when it is required. Now that the wedding is actually happening, I feel that her character will be highlighted and become stronger over time. I love her bond with her brother Vardan and Lucky's father. Overall, I am quite keen to see how Lucky starts falling for Komal and I really hope he falls for her just the way she is I don't want her to change. I want Lucky to see her inner beauty not outer looks.

I like Lucky but I think his character will develop more over time, I can't wait to see him fall for Komal! I am going to be a bit clique, I want him to be jealous when someone else admires Komal because of her good qualities. I really want him to be envious and pine for Komal. I think it will be awesome to watch Lucky's anger and true love for Komal! Sorry for being so typical but I am really eager to see such a track.

Recently, I am not quite happy with people's opinions on the forced marriage. I know that Bauji is forcing everyone to accept the marriage but for me it is quite upsetting that the only reason as to why Malti and Lucky are against the marriage is because she is overweight and not some Pari. I really hope Komal is able to change everyone's opinion about outer beauty and accept her for her inner beauty.
I really hope the story progresses in a good way because so far I am loving the show and will be really keen to watch what happens in the coming days.

Sorry if anyone disagrees to my comments and views. I had no intention of hurting anyone. We are all a family and hope this show develops for the best.

Poroma 😃 !!!

hi poonam
welcome to the forum

I don't like the way in which raghuvir has forced marriage on komal an lucky
other than that I agree with you that malti and Lucky's reason for rejecting komal is wrong
other reason that lucky rejected komal was coz he liked another girl marjorie who he wanted to spent hiss life

ya their reasons were very wrong but I don't like the way raghuvir forced them to accept komal as their bahu
becoz of this , ultimately komal will suffer coz no one will give her respect except babuji that she deserves

she will have tough times ahead after marriage

Hi Poroma, welcome to BB forum ! Its always delightful to have new members join us and post their views !! BB is most definitely a fresh concept for Indian TV, and the cast and crew are doing a tremendous job !!

What intrigues me about this show is the inner turmoil that was created among so many lead characters of the show, just because of one person's doing and that person wasn't Raghuvir, it was Viren.

Mostly everyone member blames Raghuvir for forcing the marriage between Lucky and Komal, but we don't know the reason why Komal and her family is so important to Raghuvir, and what happened in the past between the two families, that Raghuvir's redemption had to take priority over his own sons happiness.

As for Komal, everyone keeps saying that even though she knows Lucky doesn't want to marry her, she is still happy about this marriage. That is not entirely true, even though I agree that she has been going through all the rituals with a smile on her face, I feel she is more happy about her father's dream coming true, then the thought of getting married to Lucky, whom she knows does like or respect her. She was put in a tough spot when Viren left her, so now that this decision has been taken for her by her elders, she is just respecting their wishes. I really admire her spirit and strength though, because despite knowing what's in store for her she is handing every situation and even Lucky quite maturely.

Coming to Lucky, I do feel for him, because he has been forced into spending his life with someone whom he doesn't like and who could never been his choice. It is just that every time he opens his mouth about not marrying Komal, its always more about her being over weight rather then the fact that he loves someone else. I really wish he had the courage to face his dad earlier on and told him about his feelings for Marjorie, so maybe things would have turned out differently. But then again, its not just he fears his father, he also loves his dad very much, so I may have not felt bad for him earlier, I did really feel for him in last night's episode. His love for his dad, the pain he was feeling because of Marjorie leaving and his misery for marrying someone whom he thinks he can't ever love, was portrayed actually quite well by Prince. For his first acting stint, he is doing a good job. I'm really looking forward to Lucky's character growth !!!

Last but not the least, Lucky and Komal share amazing chemistry !!! I especially loved the doli scene in last night's episode, where he extends his hand to Komal so she can step out of the doli, but instead of her taking his hand, he feels a drop of her tear on his extended palm, and he realizes that he is not the only one who is going through the inner turmoil. I feel the way he closed his fist, holding that tear in his palm, was instinctive and also a foreshadow of how in future Komal's tears would be extremely precious for him. Beautifully conceived, written and executed scene !!!

navi you have explained everything so well
you have perfectly explained about komal' s situation
I was confused about her state coz she was sad and happy at the same time. komal was sadily looking at lucky during varmaal
you are right viren is the actual culprit
I wish raghuvir would have atleast convinced malti somehow
he could have convinced her if he wanted😊

you have explained the scene so beautifully that I will watch this doli scene now

Thank you Mansi 🤗

I found last night's episode to be the best episode till date !! I found the episode to be quite crucial to the story, where we got to see and realize as to why Raghuvir, Lucky and Koaml are going through with this marriage. Their reasons might be out of redemption, fulfillment of father's dream or out of duty and honor, but these three characters are a key players of this story, so I'm very excited to see how they carry through the decision which has intertwined their lives forever.

Do watch the doli scene, I have already watched it multiple times. Also the song chosen for the scene was quite apt and suited the scene very well.

navi , the doli scene was really good

raghuvir was somewhat resposnible for mahinder's death and is trying to fulfill father role in komal's life

komal was very emotional on reaching the doli. she wanted to fulfill father's dream of getting married . she was getting emoional on remembering her father.

Lucky was sad and hiding his from everyone so that they don't see his pain . His expression changed when he realised komal's tear in his hand

after giving his hand to komal , Lucky was looking at painful eyes.
It was just sadness in his eyes
I was feeling that he was saying something to komal but don't get what that expression meant

other than that the ladies in marriage were very mean who were not leaving any opportunity to body shame her

Mansi, even I think that somehow Raghuvir's was responsible for Mahinder's death, may he died while protecting Raghuvir. I wonder if the whole family knows the truth about about what transpired between these two families? More importantly does Lucky know why Raghuvir is willing to go to such extreme lengths for Komal's happiness?

Komal again imagined her father giving them his bless while they were taking pheras, so its quite clear, that her reason for going ahead with this marriage is to fulfill her father's dream of seeing her married and to respect Raghuvir's wishes whom she adores and respect as much she does her own father.

As for that doli scene, even I felt that Lucky was trying to express something through his eyes when he saw her own eyes drenched with tears after she stepped out from the doli. Till now this scene my most favorite LK scene till date. I have been watching it on loop !! 😳

Don't get me started on those mean women attending the wedding, every time they taunted and body shamed Komal, I would literally cringe listening to their words. God bless both Payal and Raghuvir, who gave them a fitting reply each time 👏
