Guys, I came again with my rant.

Rant start-

(Talking about season 1)

1-Ram Kapoor of season 1 is someone I dislike. He gets enraged at the smallest matter. I can't forget how he left Priya alone on karwachauth for his business trip. Like reallyyy???

She kept fast all day long for you and instead of staying by her side you chose to go on a business trip. When Priya hid his flight tickets ( and rightfully so) he shouted at Priya infront of everyone. Pathetic. Some time later into the episode when Ram apologise Priya's parents for his mother's insult directed at Priya's parents, Priya forgets all the insults and says thank you to Ram. Like seriously???? No self respect? Thanking him and forgetting his insults for doing the bare minimum?

Also, why does Ram always shouts at Priya?

2- Some days after Ram and Priya get married, he asks (in negative) and again gets agitated at Priya's wish to go to work after marriage. Like what?

3- Priya literally saved Ram's ass from being imprisioned for 14 years by taking the blame upon herself. After 5 years leap, when Priya returns (everyone assumed Priya was dead), Ram gets super angry at her for keeping their daughter away from him for 5 years which is 100% justified. But on the other side of the coin, Priya did all this for Ram. Because if she returned to him after getting caught in the accident she would again be arrested and imprisioned for 14 yrs. She thought this will create a havoc in Ram's life as he would wait for her till the completion of 14 yrs, hence, choses to go far away from him.

After 5 yrs, when Ram met Priya, his anger was justified. But I also wanted him to be sensible enough to hear her side of the story. He chose not to. Filed a custody case without bothering about Priya. He in anger told Priya that their marriage is null now. He taunted her at every party. He taunted her about her friendship with Rajat. His male ego was so big. Not even a single moment he tried to be mature enough to deal with the situation sensibly. He taunted Priya for starting business with Rajat, taunted her for using name 'Priya Sharma' and not 'Priya Kapoor' like whatt??? What do you want,???. You yourself told her that their marriage is now null. You disrespected her at every moment but want her to take your name and associate with herself. Like whoaaaa?? Also Priya, after so much of disrespect, knowing that Ram is now married to Ayesha, still wanted her name to be written as 'Priya Kapoor' . Girl , you do not have any ounce of self respect?

Why does a woman have to change her name(that is literally her identity) after marriage?

4- I hate Priya for moral policing Cady and her friends about dressing appropriately and not to wear short dresses. Like what? Ram also does the same. In one of the episode he said something along the line...'women wearing short dresses does not look good...blah blah. I don't remember exactly.

5- However Ayesha was nobody can deny the fact that she was disrespected. Like she was literally married to Ram (and it was her choice to keep karwachauth vrat or not) but Ram's mother bought sargi for Priya and wanted Priya to keep fast for Ram (who disrespected her). Priya devi bhi chal padi fast rakhne.

Chalo, YAHAN TAK TOH THEEK THA, BUT WHAT WAS THE NEED OF PRIYA TO TOUCH RAM'S FEET AND TAKE HIS AASHIRVAAD. BROOOOO, WHAT?

Ayesha is also pathetic in many ways. But here we are only talking about the leads.

Indian tv serial men have huge male ego and in many ways are misgynistic.

Indian tv serial women does not have any identity of their own and probably no self respect. All they can do is sacrifice. Apne aap ko bhi sacrifice kar do na, humara ( women) ka brainwash karne se toh acha hi h

Seven years later. Pihu is a troubled teen because of guilt and Ram get released and take part in Kunal and Sandy wedding 🤣
