Once Priya died (figuratively), couldn't care less what happens. Except I hope someone smacks Meera hard one day. Sick of her. I'd like to rant a lot about this character, and it's not because of her late spurt of righteous indignation on her daughter's account (the not-Priya--I'd like to rant about her too, but waste of energy). She offends me every time I see her. I'm sure the saintly Meera will be absolved of whatever shit she pulls. Actually, all this looks planned to me, but what do I know, and who cares.

I was second-hand mortified at that BTS where Priya is wailing to Meera. Oh please. Since when do these useless people do anything for you? Since when have you lost that upright (in all senses), independent Priya who'd never bare herself so much or so...publicly, for want of a better word. Tears, angst, despair, all fine. Relating it, no issues. But not like this. I know it will probably be loved by the trp audience as proof of love. It's NOT the character Priya was. And it's not been Priya for quite some time now. Walls coming down can be depicted without making her a different person. I did not like the love confession. I did not like her behaviour before that--so not her that I was looking for some excuse why. And, in my view, Priya would not speak that way to say "I love you." A quieter, restrained, almost dragged-out confession would have seemed more in character. Personally, I wish she hadn't said anything rather than this psuedo type of cliched expression. Even that "Aap kitne cute ho Mr. Kapoor, yaar" did not sit well, but I could let it pass. Drunk scene I'll let pass.

I don't know when this change started, but I think I felt she was 'off' since the time Sakshi did her guest appearance. Love may soften you towards your object of affection, but it doesn't and shouldn't change your essence. This is not the original Priya, it is a standard itv fl. Why? Either laziness or deliberately switching to pleasing the trp aunties. OR, og Priya no longer suits their narrative (if they even have one). THIS creature does. Because Disha can deliver. It's just that she's no longer directed to deliver the character that went straight to the heart for so many of us, practically at first sight.

I truly mourn Priya.

I read the airhead really blotted her copybook yesterday, but what do you expect from her? Absolutely, smack her too. She stands alongside Meera in my most disliked. She's riled me endlessly with her attitude towards Priya, Ram, and her usually nonsensical advice or comments.

I know many don't like Shivi, but I'll take 2 Shivis over Sara. I said long ago, when her attitude was compared to Priya's, that she's happy-go-lucky because she's dumb.
