the reason why i dont have much issue with leap

is because i dont want makers to again bring back vedika track or drag the murder track

at least there will be a fresh track with the leap

but only concern is the seperation and i get why fans dont want the leap

i will be genuinely happy if they show leap w/o seperation

even if they dont at least the kid will be something positive for ram and priya, (its 1000 times better than bringing vedika back or the dragged murder mystery), ram badly wants to be a dad, we could get to see daddy cool ram. and priya also how she tackles her concern and all.

fans would anyway leave the show if they keep on showing the same track at least leap se there can be a second chance and fresh start.

best is if they show a new track with no negativity rather than a leap but dont think makers even have this basic sense of such a track, which is why leap isnt a bad idea but problem is the cliched seperation.

Aur hum… 😆 I have had some exams coming up, that I am done with , my break times were filled with balh2 past few months, but since alibaug, I got my reality check!🤣

Fortunately, I have other hobbies that I am giving into instead of balh2 alone… ☺️

I am done with some of my reading list … I have sb’s recommendation of 3-book series lined up,…

and after a loooong time , I went on looong walk and drive capturing random frames and it felt meditative

Honestly, I am astonished ki something consumed so much of my time and I was not aware of it….,🤪

And part reason might be, well…. you wonderful people here… it didn’t feel like a regular itv soap that is a guilty pleasure, but something more meaningful…

Ab kya hi tag karu… sab log paagal hai hum… IF ki na insaafi hai , that I can’t tag more than 10.😆

Exact same here. Curious to know VK ko kisne maara, thats all. No other interest left in the show. Na love story mila, na dhang ke confessions. Consummation toh door ki baat, not even conversations mile. Got a few nice scenes, thats all. Terribly disappointed. Zero interest in baby or leap or separation. Even NM & DP as RaYa are looking like “yeh kya kar rahe hum!”.

Sticking around only for this lovely forum that saw the BALH2 dream together.

@bold: leap or no leap, what I do not understand is - they rushed through the confession, consummation. And as per their timeline these 2 know eo very well… so how will they explore anything more in between them… I mean that journey of slowly falling in love, realisation, small changes in eo, noticing them, a little possessiveness. They cannot take a U turn to explore these moments… so I feel we have been robbed forever of this journey with all the rush…

I now get a feel they always wanted the TRP audience… it was never us and that is the reason right from the beginning it was the track that used to get the focus and not the love story.

Mai to seriously redux dekh lungi iss point pe 🤣 only on one condition if they make use of the WONDERFUL LEADS! Make them fall in love again but beautifully and I will forget the 180 episodes (only if they change their writing 180 degrees) they gave us in the start.

that’s the million dollar question… kaise… how do they go back and make them fall in love again…. They claim that they understand eo so well that they do not needs words to communicate… which means there has to be the clichéd separation and then meeting again… 😕

S1 there was more focus on the love story than the characters developments while S2 the focus was more on the characters developments than the love story they could have take another route now to show the love story but they messed up so much that there is no way they can undo it back. I will put the blame on the crowd that messed up the narrative from the main plot & of course the negativity

S1 Ram-Priya they loved each other but they were not involved with each other. They had the maturity to handle themselves individually

S2 Ram-Priya are passionately in love with each other & they are so much involve with each other that w/o each other they will completely loose themselves

Above all Dhonds are not capable to write a romance genre they ruined so many love stories honestly

I have not seen S1 much but have seen Baarish. Even though the show had many tracks running parallelly, they culminated with the lead's track. That was the beauty of it. It was not focused solely on the leads but it contributed to the main story. But here I donno y there is so much chaos in terms of story telling. I understand they want to make it slightly different from s1 but its messing things up further.

Who are Dhonds? R they writers? I donno, that's y I am asking. I am not sure if I want to blame the writers. For a long time I cursed them to my heart's content assuming they r the reason why the story goes downhill. Till I came across one myself. Not going to take names. But this writer wrote a fanfic a long time ago. Believe me when I say this, it was one of the best pieces I have read. It was written so well and it was no less than a Hollywood style story telling. But then I see stuff this person written for TV and I wonder is it the same person? How can someone who can write so well otherwise come up with this stuff for TV? It all boils down to execution and lot of things get amiss. These guys are professional writers and thats y they get paid so well. If they were not good, y will they even be hired? Just imagine ur writing a story and feedback starts pouring in from everywhere. SM has kinda spoiled things to be honest. Everybody wants different things. While its good to hear what audience looks forward to, you cannot base a story on what they like or they don't. The story is always a writer's creation and the writer should follow their gut coz only they know about the journey and the end. Just imagine too many people meddling - fans demanding to see one thing, actors wanting their part to be enhanced, changes introduced coz of TRPs. As they say, too many cooks spoil a dish. The flow in the writer's storytelling is broken and no matter what they do, it can never go back to its original glory. Take the TV shows from 90's. I envy my mom that she got to see some good stuff. I try to catch some on Youtube when I can and boy were they so progressive at a time when the movie content was regressive? Back then the story of the TV show was the hero more than the actual actors and that's why the content was good.

After BP ended, I remember Harshad doing a round table with Anu Ranjan along with Helly, Rohit Roy and others. It was a very good one. Rohit spoke about one of the shows he did which had a promising story. Just coz the initial TRPs were not good, they ruined the script by making unnecessary changes, spoiling it to an extent that it was no where near what they had originally envisioned. Channels interfere a lot with creative story telling. Its a long one but if you are interested, do have a look. They have discussed a lot on more interesting topics too.
