There is also r-v on mirror/through mirror play… it is ram's realisation time too… his perception metrics will undergo changes too… what wasn't important previously will be important now… what he didn't mind previously will definitely cross his mind now!
He will repeatedly choose priya now, not his manipulators… the shift will be visible in those mirrors and glasses
I don't know much about photography, but I understand things through the optical illusion created by photography and literary devices in the scripts.
Having said that, and thanks to you after thinking through the camera (visual) perspective, this scene is of utmost importance to the story, especially to Ram.
From Ram's perspective, this imagery illusion is what V was doing all along. If he puts himself in Pri's shoes ONLY for this scene, he will see that Pri will take the EMBRACE as a BETRAYAL.
This same illusion was created on Ram's birthday; he was MADE to believe that Pri was with Neeraj the entire day when she was, in fact somewhere else, planning for the cake. Even though he waited for her single phone call, he was mortified knowing that she DOESN'T care till he came to know of the cake.
Again, similarly, V is willing to help Ram on V-day, Chooda (add the events if I am missing any), etc., will come as in FBs for Ram. I think THIS is where the college FBs will come. All the reasonings about V his friends were giving him all along. In the guise of friendship and love, all she wanted was to fulfill her WANT.
