I think the other reason is Ram telling her that he has closed his doors for love and cannot love any one… sh she respects that and always tries to keep her distance.. And as @thecooldocsid said MS, Nalli leave no chance to prick her self esteem… by alluding that Ram agreed to marry for his sister.

She does not perceive herself as beautiful or attractive and hence finds Ram too good for her( good looking, successful, rich).

With so much on her mind, though she sees the signals from Ram, but these signals are not as strong as the other beliefs and self doubt.

Ram will bring back her self-worth. He will do what it takes to build her confidence. If you see, the only person who has seen Priya crying is Ram, even before marriage. For others, she has always kept that strict facade on

Sorry to burst your bubble, this won't happen. In the BTS, it is seen that they sleep facing each other than against each other. That will be the progression. Unless Ram due to his overenthusiasm doesn't mention these at the breakfast table like Priya & I witnessed stars together, it was beautiful, tumhain bhi karna chahiye to Shikki. N & V will be stumped
