“Venice?!” Priya exclaimed, “that’s what I said…” Ram told, “Mr. Kapoor? I wanna catch Shashi too. But Venice, it’s… I have my college…” she said contemplating, “Priya… come on, I can speak to the College director.” He said making her roll her eyes, “Mr. Kapoor, you know I don’t like when you use your name like that.” She said, “okay fine! Then you have two options, one you come with me or I will go alone since I need Adi, Vik, and Kunal working here. What do you want me to do?” he said frowning, Priya sighed. “I don’t want you to go alone… how many days?” she asked, “I don’t know Priya… It is not fixed. The faster we catch, the faster we get to come home.” He said. “anyways, it’s late May, and probably they are gonna give summer holidays, so it’ll be fine. Moreover, you have the option to conduct online also.” Priya nodded. Ram smiled. “I’ll book then.” He said excited, “It’s funny how we had talked about going abroad and now it has come true.” He said. “Mr. Kapoor, as far as I remember we are going to catch Shashi, not for vacation.” She reminded him, he groaned. “And some people just like ruining the fun out of it. Live a little gorgeous, we’ll catch Shashi, don’t tell you have zero interest in exploring Italy” he said huskily, causing butterflies in her stomach. “we’ll see Mr. Kapoor” she said brushing off any feeling. “haan, ‘no’ aur ‘we’ll see’, yeh dono tumhare favorites hai. I am jealous.” He said, she just chuckled and shook her head.

“Go, I see at you 6pm” he said as he stopped in front of her college. “how did you know?” she asked surprised. “I am your husband, I know everything……” he said proudly, while she looked him in disbelief, “I overheard your conversation with Sara di” he said in a low tone. “Yeah, you seem to do that a lot” she said sarcastically, while he gave a sheepish smile. “Bye Mr. Kapoor” she said getting off the car, “Bye gorgeous” he said winking, causing her to blush. She ran off before he could flirt more, making him laugh. He reached his cabin to find Bri sitting there with a worry on her face, she soon sees him with tears, she rushes to hug him. “Jaan… I am so sorry; I seriously will kill Shashi if I ever see him.” Ram had updated Adi with everything that has happened who in turn told everything to Brinda, Vik and Kunal. “Bri, it’s okay. I am fine. And I know you will kill him, that’s why I am taking Priya to Venice.” He said hugging her back. She pulled away, “Venice?” just then the whole had barged in, hugging ram, sobbing, “Guys, seriously I am okay.” He said reassuring them. He made them sit and explained what happened that morning. “Are you sure it’s safe? You and Priya?” asked Adi, “Don’t worry, I am not going unarmed, there will be security” he said. “Accha teek hai, I am happy that scoundrel will be arrested.” Vik said. “so, is it just some catching a murderer trip or Venice, a romantic place, something might spark between the couple trip?” Bri teased, Ram tried controlling his blush. “Bri yaar!! I don’t know. A lot has changed since the Ooty trip. It’s like we are slowly moving forward. And Priya is willingly doing so. There is hope. I think, I don’t have to worry about my feeling to be one-sided. She lets me compliment her now.” He said as his eyes shone. They looked at him with love. “I am so happy for you Ram! You and Bhabhi are so lucky to have each other.” Said an excited Kunal. “bilkul sahi kaha. I was right. Priya is the one!” said Bri pointing at all. “You are always right, Jaan.” Ram said smiling. “group hugg!!” Adi yelled making everyone laugh, as they came closer and hugged. “Let’s have lunch together. It’s been so long.” Vik said breaking the hug. “Should we also call a certain gorgeous lady?” Bri teased, Ram looked at her perplexed, why was she stressing on the word gorgeous, how did she know? Bri understood that, “Look at your phone, Jaan” she said. A message had popped up. ‘GORGEOUS: Mr. Kapoor, did you have your lunch? Did you take your medicines?’ Ram blushed, as he took it hurriedly, leaving a laughing Bri. He called her. “Hello Mr. Kapoor, everything fine?” she asked, “Everything is, well, did you have your lunch?” he asked, “ah, not yet. Why?” she asked, “well, I was thinking maybe you could join us.” He replied. “us?” she asked, “Haan, Bri, Adi, Vik and Kunal. So, they were suggesting to call you and I thought why not, it would be amazing if you join us.” He said. “Ok sure. I’ll come in few minutes” she said, she was happy to join, in fact they have become her friends too. “See you then gorgeous” he said making her blush.

Soon Priya joined them, and they had amazing time, filled with laughter, teasings and just friend things. Suddenly everything seemed normal, like there was no Shashi, no Mahendra Sood, no past breakups holding them, no past traumas, they were free. “we should do this again” Priya said, everyone looked at her wide eyed, the Priya who was always reluctant to speak with them who maintained distance, now enjoyed herself fully asking to do it again, “what? Did I say something wrong?” she said nervously, Bri went closer and hugged her, “not at all, I would love to do this again. But unfortunately, we gotta wait for now.” She said, “why?” Priya said in confusion. “Haan, toh you’ll come here in between of your honeymoon to have food with us?” teased Brinda, “hon-honey-honeymoon?” she stammered, while Ram face palmed. “Haan, Venice!! So romantic” Bri exclaimed. Priya looked at ram glaring, he shook his mouthing, “Noo”, she just looked down turning red. “itna kyu sharma rahe ho dono?” she said, while the boys enjoyed the scene going on, snickering behind. “Bas huh bas, Ab mujhe kaam bhi karna hai. Adi, Vik? Don’t you both have to attend the meeting in few? And Kunal, did you finish accounting the overseas project?” he said. They groaned in frustration, “we’ll go now” they said in unison causing Ram to chuckle. Bri came over and hugged Ram and Priya one last time before leaving. Ram’s phone was on the edge, she took it before it could fall. She noticed the contacts, one named GORGEOUS. ‘yeh kon hai? Gorgeous? Mr. Kapoor toh Bri ko Jaan ke naam par save kiya hai? Who is this?’ she thought getting slightly jealous. “Mr. Kapoor, take your phone. And also, who is that gorgeous you have saved?” she asked narrowing her eyes. ‘Oh no, I should have been careful, if she knows, she will lecture me, but wait, is that jealousy I see. Hmmm, don’t play with her Ram, you are gonna make her angry, but again, how often does she get jealous, Seize the opportunity, soldier’ he thought. “My girlfriend” he replied nonchalantly. She was irritated now, “Fine, go talk to your girlfriend. I have to leave” she said turning around walking to the door. Ram threw his phone on the couch, grabbed her wrists and pulled her closer. “where are you going my green-eyed monster” He said chuckling, “I-I am – I am not jealous, if that’s what you think” she said stammering, her heartbeats raced standing so close to him. “uh huh, sure, if that’s what you say” he said sarcastically. “Umm, Priya, I don’t know where I threw my phone can you ring it?” he asked. She did so, and found it ringing on the couch. She picked it up, and saw the name flashing on the screen ‘GORGEOUS’. She looked away to make sure he didn’t see her reddened cheeks. “Priya, tum bolti ho ki tum bohot smart ho, but subah se mei tumhe gorgeous-gorgeous bula raha hoon, and it didn’t even cross your mind that I have saved you as that?” Priya looked flustered, and hit him lightly on his shoulder. “Mr. Kapoor aap bhi na….” mustering up confidence, “Maybe I just wanted to hear that from you…” she said shrugging, “Anyways, I have to leave, I have a class” she said leaving, “Priya!” he called her, she turned to look at him who is coming towards her, he placed a soft kiss on her forehead and whispered “bye-bye gorgeous” making her heart skip a beat, while his raced. She rushed outside smiling bidding him a goodbye. “what a day!” he exclaimed ruffling his hair after she left. Little did they know Brinda watched the whole scene, who was surprisingly shocked and extremely happy.

“That’s a lot at a time… Murder? Venice? Gorgeous? Kiss? Bri you need to slow down. Are you sure it was Priya? And Murder... Ram knows about…” Sara asked Bri who was sipping her coffee. “haan, Sara, he knows, Priya told him everything, and the investigation has been going on for 2 days now. Shashi is in Venice.” Adi said munching on a cupcake. “Yeah that is there, but guess what Sara!!!” Bri exclaimed. “Priya knows about Vedika, and they both have resolved that issue. Ram says it seems they are moving forward in their relationship and Priya wants that too. When I was leaving, I saw Ram kissing Priya on her forehead calling her gorgeous, and she didn’t even taunt back instead she blushed.” Bri squealed. “stalk much?” Vik said, Bri scowled, “Shut up, I went back to check on Ram.” She defended, “Yeah yeah” Adi said sarcastically, which made Brinda glare, while he munched on another nervously. “Ram and Priya are finally getting what they deserve. I don’t wanna jinx anything.” Sara said excitedly. “I missed him so much, and thanks to Priya, she brought him back. She gave that kid in him a home. She gave him happiness, love and warmth, everything he so longed for.” Adi said making everyone tear up. “I have never seen Priya so bright and smiley. Ram bought that in her, Ram changed her, gave her light, hope, and love” Sara said, as they huddled up for a group hug. “Okay now, no more being senti … we must be happy!!” Bri said, as they screamed “#RaYa Forever” and laughed.

“Priya tum mujhse baath hi math karo, you didn’t even tell me all of this!!” Sara exclaimed pretending to be angry, “I am sorry Sara di, these two days have been hectic, I was gonna tell you everything.” She pleaded. “Ok fine, Priya, I forgive you, but only on one condition.” Sara said smirking, Priya narrowed her eyes, “What?” she asked. “Tell me how you truly feel about Ram. Don’t do dare lie uh.” Sara said making Priya sigh. “Sara di, seriously?” she said going towards the door checking of there is someone out, making Sara look at her confused. “Mr. Kapoor somehow overhears everything I talk with you. So just taking precautions.” She said making Sara laugh. “I don’t know how to describe what I feel for him. I cannot term it as love, I still need time for that, but I do know I feel something for him.” She said smiling, “Do you like him?” Sara asked, “Of course I do, everyone does.” She said as a matter of fact. “It’s not about everyone. I am talking about you…” Sara said. “I am scared, but I trying not to be. I am trying to open up, let him in. I do like him Sara di. In fact, what I feel is more than like, uh huh, there is time for love. But I have made up, I will not close myself and feel what I feel.” She said, Sara had a wide grin on her face. “I love you!!” she said pulling Priya into a hug who happily reciprocated. Just then her phone rang, “speak of the devil” Priya chuckled, “I am coming outside.” She said cutting the call. “Bye Sara di” Priya bid her goodbye. Sara looked at her retreating figure smiling.

Priya sat into the car, “You look cheery. Did something happen?” Ram asked, Priya just shrugged. “Well, Priya, I feel like having a coffee if you don’t mind. I’ll go in. Do you want anything?” he asked. “Umm, no, I was just there. Shall I come with?” she asked, Ram didn’t have the heart to say no, but he had to. “Priya, there is no need. It’s a just a coffee, I’ll be back soon. Stay here” he said with a small smile. ‘I am sorry Priya, I had to lie, if you know the truth, you will kill me, so um…’. He was about to enter the bakery, he heard Sara speaking on the phone smiling and laughing. He was curious to what made her jovial, “yes Brinda!! Priya didn’t say she will never love him, she said it will take her time. So that means, there is hope!!! And she does like him, no, it’s more than that. The Priya I saw today, god! You were right, she was bright. Ram-” Sara turned to see Ram who looked at her open mouthed, Sara cut the call hurriedly. “Ram? I thought you left with Priya? Please don’t say you heard…” she said, Ram came closer and held her by her shoulder, “Sara di, ab aap jo bhi Bri se bol rahi thi, kya woh sach hai?” he asked, Sara nodded. Ram squealed in happiness, “Priya shouldn’t know, and what is with you and listening to all our convos?” Ram scratched his neck and gave a sheepish smile. “In one condition, I’ll not say” he said, “I’m all ears.” She said. “I’ll have two chocolate cupcakes, and you wouldn’t say this to Priya.”. “Okay” Sara laughed. Sara returns with, two cupcakes and hands it to him who takes it with a wide smile. As he was gonna take a bite, “Mr. Kapoor!!” He stopped shivered at the voice, he is gone now. Sara giggled behind. “This is coffee? You lied to me?” she asked looking vexed. “Arrey, I am sorry, if I had told you, it would be the end of me, and I really wanna live to see my children” he said showing his signature puppy eyes, Priya looked at him with her eyes narrowed, while Sara gave a pretend cough, “Children?” she teased. “We’re getting late” Priya said flustered Ram thanked the moment for letting Priya forget that he had cupcakes, he silently ate them before she could realise, “No, you both are coming home. It’s been so long. And Ma is making aloo paratha.” She said, Ram’s face gleamed. “Yeah good idea, let’s go na Priya.” he said thinking it would distract her from this. She couldn’t deny even she wanted to see her mom. “Sara we’ll wait and we’ll go together”

Sara closed the bakery, and they all settled in the car. “hum ma ko yeh sab khatam hone ke baad bataenge, for now, I don’t want to worry her.” Priya said, Ram and Sara agreed. They had an amazing dinner, it was fun, with teasing Priya, everything felt so light. Ram and Priya enjoyed their time there. They bid goodbye, Meera Ma asked them to come soon for which they agreed. They drove to their home. They lied on their bed, “Wanna watch a movie for old time sake?” Ram asked, Priya smiled and nodded, he took his laptop and put up a movie. “by the way I’ve booked the ticket. We’ll be leaving in two days” he said, “Okay, no more shopping though, we just did for Ooty.” She said, Ram pouted, “Pleaseee, come on Priya, It’s Venice” he pleaded, she knew it was of no use to argue, she finally agreed making him happy. “you spoil me!” she said, “you deserve it” he said gleefully, Ram made a mental note to ponder more about Priya’s feelings for him, excited that she reciprocates it. Both slept off peacefully looking forward to Venice.

I just love the word gorgeous, esecially when used as an endearment, it makes me blush so hard😆... so I thought why not for Priya, after all it suits her so well. Venice is coming real soon. I hope you like this. Do tell me you opinion👍🏼

Oh to me imagining them catching Shashi in Venice, and, then Ram taking her to a villa in Umbria or Sienna for a week— just the two of them, exploring the italian wonderland… the land of love and sensuality… the land of beauty and serenity😻💓😬
