Bitter Memory, Spicy Delicacy But A Sweet End
Ram looked with anticipating eyes at the stunned Priya who stared at that spiced delicacy in his hand. He was waiting for her to eat the Kachori and to be joyous at getting it while she couldn't fathom what emotion she had to feel.
The disgust she felt looking at that Kachori too much but at the same time, the excited glint in the eyes of Mr. Kapoor stopped her from letting her disgust be known to him. Somewhere his expecting eyes were stopping her.
The way he looked at her happily and in such an expecting way she didn't know what exactly she had to feel.
Those Kachoris reminded her of the disgusting betrayal of the person who was apparently her 'father' but at the same time the man who offered her that delicacy was someone who she had now grown to admire and maybe somewhere like.
Hesitantly, Priya took the Kachori from his hand and bit into it slowly. The blend of spicy and savory flavor hit her tastebuds as she chewed down her bite.
Even though the Kachori was to be spicy but the memories attached to it left a bitter taste as she continued chewing it down but as she looked up to the man whom she called her husband standing right in front of her trying to figure out what her emotions exactly meant while continuing to smile as sweetly as he could she couldn't help but let the corners of her mouth lift up slightly.
Maybe, maybe the bitter memory that the spicy snack left behind could be sweetened by that smile of his. Yes, she mightn't ever like them the way she used to but maybe one day she mightn't ever hate them as she does right now.

A/N: I haven't written in ages so I am really rusty at it these days. I read so many works on PriRa and have so many drabbles and Vignette ideas myself. Hence I decided to go with this one idea. Pls, do tell me how it was...
I haven't watched the show religiously off late so maybe the characterization might be offbeat but spare me there
