I had thought this story had great potential but sadly the creative side don't seem to have the skill to write a logical simple uncomplicated story line.

Let us write a mature love story

Ram - 38 yrs, orphan, looking after his stepfamily like his own family. He loves the rain, he is a man child

Priya - 32 yrs born, khadoos, hates rain, more mature than her age. Born to Mr and Mrs Sood. Let's make Mr Sood like the one in ZGH. [Copy paste the background from there]. Let's make him greyer, he is hired gunda who killed Ram's dad

Ram's ex - Vedika, now married to Ram's business partner, Shashi. Let's make both of them grey as well

Priya's ex - Neeraj, is now married to Priya's sister, Maitri. Let's make them dumb, grey, opportunistic

Ram's friends - Right set of people who are mere yes men to Ram. They are all successful at work but since they care for Ram a lot, they won't open their mouths

Let's add more irritating characters - Maami to Priya, Maami to Ram.

Wait, a min, we need siblings for Ram else how will he meet Priya? So add Shivi and Shubhu.

If Priya had her brother, then Mr Sood would not have left Meera, ok, let's add Akki, cousin of Priya. Now Ram and Priya meet because of Akki and Shivi

The idea is to make this series run for 5 yrs ie 1000 episodes. So if Ram and Priya are married off, they will be mature but opinionated but eventually, they will talk and sort out issues. Then the series will get over within 200 episodes ie 1 yr

So let's add more complications and create MUs. Activate all the grey characters. Wait a min, we just got a new show on Sony. While we work on the initial episodes of that series, let's give some rest to the leads. Antagonists will have a field day

After a few days, oh no! so many villains, what should we do now? It's good, we just completed 100 episodes, we will find a way to get rid of the antagonists but we are on target wrt 1000 episodes

Audiences are complaining, let's add a scene of handholding, cake making, stitching, kachori, kangan, they will be happy with that

What about the story? In the 1000th episode, villains will all go away, Raya together, 5 mins mein leap, Raya with a kid

What about mature love story? Audience must have matured and must have understood that Raya has matured too
