I was watching RAYA scenes on YouTube something I noticed is that Ram wants more from this relationship. It's true in between he gets side tracked. He wants to share a life with his wife just like any other couple , but he also knows that the reason for their was not like normal couple and now he has reached a stage where he doesn't care how it all started , all that matters to him is that he want Priya also to reciprocate his feelings.
He is trying his level best to make her comfortable with his presence and emotional support but the point he is missing is that he is taking help from wrong people. Their ideas will only move him away from her. He needs to first reach out to her as friend and start those small talks ..nd communicate with her.

Absolutely, even I reminisced some of the early episodes today and thought, even in arranged marriage the 2 people meet and decide if they really want to spend their life together and once they make that decision. there is a period for courtship to know EO, likes displaces or at least get comfortable in each other’s company. Sometimes people start setting up their new nest together.
In this case, these 2 were complete strangers and moreover did not make a decision thinking of sharing their life, it came as a by product of the fact that they are married. Their awareness about each other’s past and the commitment they made that they would not encroach EO’s space and impose the relationship on EO was a good and a mature decision but is definitely a deterrent for them to progress. Hence the hesitation to speak their minds and usual monologues, where you are always worried how the other person might perceive.
Actually, both of them want to progress the relationship and find comfort in each other, although they have not expressed it directly.Because they declared that their relationship is based on someone else’s or that they took the leap for their family, they feel guilty to prioritise their own choice and well being. The feel scared to even say that no matter what happens to anyone else in their families, they want to be together, it’s not about others any more it’s about them.
This is also because they are not fully sure what the other person thinks, and hence always scared and feel a constant threat to their relationship that if anything goes wrong slightly the other person may leave or walk away from the relationship.
Would love if the show progresses this way:
Some genuine instance (not Kachori, auto or over dramatic.. ) something simple like what they showed earlier - like Ram overhearing Priya and her father’s conversation and Priya sees him this time, makes Priya vent out her past to him, like why and how she broke how with Neeraj, involuntarily she bares her soul to him, let’s him see her scars. This way he understands her better.
Knowing this side of Priya, gives Ram the confidence to take the right decision and tell Priya about Vedika and explain her that he did not want to betray her although his actions did amount to the same. She understands him and his insecurities better and his fear of losing her.
Ram, finds some aspects of Vedika’s behaviour fishy and confronts her which catches her unaware and she is rattled enough to expose her true self to him. His friends can play a role in this and he decides to cancel her from his life. Tells clearly to the entire family and Vedika without any guilt, the place Priya holds in his life. This way he redeems all his mistakes when he did not trust Priya or give them the respect she deserves.
This can follow with confessions and when they are deeply in love, Virendra Kapoor’s murder thread resumed… which is the litmus test for their relationship … whether he is able to keep his relationship away from this storm, the torment, the dilemma in determining what is right and wrong.
This would easily take 30-40 episodes and filler episodes can be with more positive characters helping them move towards each other. This solves the CV’s problem that the story would get over if confess come early it would still have a lot of mettle to continue for a few more months.
P.S: Was thinking since many days, how it would make the show memorable and do justice to the brilliant actors.
