I'm not sure if I'm putting it in the right words - Ram feeling hollow cos his Father couldn't be there is understandable but Ram shouldn't be feeling guilty about moving on from Vedika cos well Number 1) it was Vedika who moved ahead owing to whatever circumstances but she did.
2) He hasn't actually moved on. They have publicized to every family member too on both ends that this marriage is just a compromise. Until he actually falls for Priya, he shouldn't feel guilty....and then I would love to see how he handles that talk with himself
Then Ohh! how I loved how hopeful that 'One Day' phrase was for both. Noone is thinking that this marriage might not last or that they aren't gonna be stuck with each other for this life. Both of them accepted the One Day with no doubts
