Did any one pay attention to Priyas monologue abt her father?! It seemed that she didn't want him there and she didn't want him to give her away! But they had given opposite dialogues to her sometime last week with her mother abt isn't it the fathers responsibility to be there for the daughter's wedding?! Yday we were discussing on the forum that May be she shared a better relationship with her dad earlier. But today it was revealed otherwise. Do the cvs forget their own writing?

I am finding this whole thing about Priya hoping for her dad’s presence, Ram guessing what Priya is hoping for & Ram’s dialogue on the father’s importance at wedding, all very regressive. It is so sad that purely by virtue of being her biological father - he has not fathered her in any other sense - he gets this status over her mother who has been both mom & dad for her. He is completely undeserving, amd Meera really deserved the sole privilege of hosting this wedding & doing all the rituals. If if had to be a man for whatever ritualistic reasons, her Mama is a far more deserving candidate.

Sony serials usually have nayi soch though other channels claim it in name only, so it is disappointing. They shd show Priya saying her dad has a right to be present at her wedding if he wishes, and thank Ram for thinking of it, but insist that only her mom shd do the kanyadan.

Yes kanyadaan shud be done by Priyas mom only - not by "chance" but by design! Yday they showed ghatbandan being done Priyas dad and by chance itnwas completed by Priyas mom!

Priya's father doesn't deserve to be there in the wedding but than the bogus society has regrrssive thoughts & it did not change at all,its still there breathing & living.

Regards to Priys they share bad blood but the facts remains that he is her father & sometimes the wish reveals that u want your father & than reality strikes its the same for when a parent is no more

I am glad Priya's mom did the ghaathbandhan

No I don’t think so. I don’t think Priya ever shared a good relationship with her father. Had she, her mother would have made some efforts to patch them up. But she didnt, considering she’s a calm and docile kinda women. She in fact stands up for Priya in front of MS.

Yes Priya though her father should be there in her wedding. It’s his moral duty. But which father curses his own daughter the way MS did? Even now MS wanted to break her marriage with Ram. She just mentioned how he shouldn’t have done that and understand this is his moral duty but somehow she can’t even expect that from him anymore. She longs for her father during her marriage rituals coz else people, like Nandini, would taunt her mother.

Sorry but this isn’t how Sony is behaving, that’s how majority of Indian families think and behave. They aren’t showing anything unbelievable or unacceptable. Ram’s thought process on the other hand is totally different. He feels their relationship can’t be that sore. He feels anyone can’t be that bad. He doesn’t know what Sood sisters had to face all this while plus he’s a man with a golden heart.
