Its been a week after RaYa's engagement! Ram is busy in his new project. Although he had taken Priya's number but in this 7 days he hasn't called her.. Its not that he has forgotten to call her.. Its just that he is feeling awkward what and how will he talk.. every time he picks up his phone and dials her number but before it could ring he ends the call.
Priya on the other hand is busy in her classes.. she is going to take leave for her marriage for days.. so she is taking extra classes.. She whenever got call from unknown number in these 7 days had thought to be Ram's number. But it wasn't.. She is frustrated.. also she is confused with her behaviour why she is expecting Mr.kapoor to call her. She thinks he might be busy in his office and his work.. he might not get time..
The Shergills have come to KM for dinner today.. the Kapoors and the Shergills have a great time.. After dinner, Ram is with Vikram in his study having drinks.. Vikram starts saying- sagai k baad baat ki Priya se?
Ram- kyun?
Vikram- arre kyun ka matlab kya? Tu shaadi karne wala hai usse.. tujhe pata bhi hai shaadi ka matlab? Tum dono ek dusre k saath saari zindagi bitane wale ho.. ek dusre ko janne pehchanna bhi toh jaruri hai.. ek dusre se baat hi nahi karoge toh jaanoge kya ek dusre k baare mein?
Ram being Ram replies- main hi kyun call karun? Wph bhi toh kar sakti hai?
"woh ladki hai fatty woh kaise karegi aise hi.. aur waise bhi tune thodi na apna number diya hai ussko.. number toh sirf tune liya tha na usse Neha enyers the study saying this..
Ram- wait a minute.. tujhe kaise pata maine apna number priya ko nahi diya.. sirf uska hi liya... tu sunn rahi thi humari baat?
Neha bits her tongue thinking pakdi gayi...
Neha teases him saying- haan sunn rahi thi.. tumhare bahane bhi sun liya tha jo tum number lene k liye Priya se bol rahe the.. Priya is so smart woh samajh gayi tumhare bahane and laughs..
Ram gets angry and says-tujhe toh main..
Vikram stops them-hold on guys.. ab tum log mat shuru ho jaao..
Vikram- aur ram tu.. tune number le liya hai aur abhi tak phone nahi kiya? Dadi sahi kehti hain tujhe tu Golu hi hai.. and laughs along with Neha
Ram gets frustrated and says-tum logo ki baat hamesa mere motape pe aake hi kyun atak jati hai? Main aisa hi thik hoon ok... aur mujhe koi baat nahi karni Priya se.. mene no. Isliye liya tha ki koi urgent kaam ho toh usse call kar sakun.. aur kuch nahi!
Neha-fir shuru hogaye iske bahane.
Vikram-tu har baat pe bhadakta kyun hai? Shaadi k baad ye sab kaam nahi karne wale... tera ye gussa kaise beh jata hai biwi ke saamne dekhte rahiyo.. meri baat maan aur ye jo engagement aur marriage tak ka waqt hai isse full enjoy kar.. Priya se baat karrle.. shaadi k baad ye pal nahi ayenge wapas.. aur shadi ke baad tu chah kar bhi baat nahi kar payega!
Neha elbows him and says- fatty vikram ki baat mat suno tum.. aur aaj hi Priya se baat karrle.. ek dusre ke sath life bitane wale ho toh baat karne mein kuch nahi jaata!
Sharma house
Priya is constantly getting call for more than 5 times from a wrong number.. she is trying to sleep but the phone call is disturbing her.. she is irritated with it and is about to throw her phone on the floor yet again her phone rings.. without confirming the number to be the same of earlier one she goes on- kya problem hai aapki? Aapko samajh nahi aata ek baar mein..insaan idhar sone ki kosis kar raha hai aur aap baar baar disturb kar rahe hain... paap lagega aapko! its wrong number ok.. ayinda call kiya na toh dekh lena.. mujhse bura koi nahi hoga..
"SORRY a voice comes from other side.. Priya realizes it to be Mr.kapoor's voice and bites her tongue.. she is so embarrassed.. she curses herself for not confirming the number..
She mumbles-sorry Mr. Kapoor.. woh mujhe laga ke..
Ram-its ok.. and tease her saying by the way itna zyada gussa sehat k liye accha nahi. Na apne liye na samne wale ke liye.. abhi heart attack aaja ta mujhe pata hai!
Priya- i'm sorry. Mujhe pata nahi tha aap call kar rahe hain and feels bad..
Ram finds her sounding upset and says- its ok yaar. Main mazaak kar raha tha!
Priya smiles and says-kuch kaam tha Mr.kapoor jo itni raat ko phone kiya aapne?
Ram watches time and sees 11:30. He now feels awkward what to say? Kya baat kare kuch samajh nahi aaraha hai..
Ram-sorry to disturb you at late night.. i didnt realize its already 11:30.. actually office aate aate der hogayi toh..
Priya-its ok Mr.kapoor . Now may i know the reason why you called me?
Ram thinks "great she wants to know the reason.. what should i tell her.. that i want to know her or her opinion about me and the marriage.. or should i tell her that my friends forced me to call you?
Priya-kuch baat karni hai mr.kapoor?
Ram -haan .. wo actually i want to ask you.. will you be okay with me being your husband? He says it in one breath..
Priya- sorry mr.kapoor.. i didnt understand
Ram- woh will you be okay with me being your husband?
Priya - aap engagement k baad ye sawal kyun puch rahe hain?
She finds it weird
Ram who didn't know how to initiate the convo had asked her that but Priya being priya asked question over question.
Ram- arre yar. Jo pucha uska sawal do na.. kyun sawal ka jawab dene ke jagah sawal puch rahi ho..
Priya- u think that i will do engagement without being okay with u being my husband..
Ram- arre yar.. tum sidha sidha nahi keh sakti..
Priya-mr.kapoor im okay with you being my husband.. now okay?
Ram smiles and says hmm
Priya now asks Ram- now ur turn aap bataiye, are you okay with me being your wife?
Ram says- yess.. thats why i wanted to make sure that u r okay as me being ur husband..
Priya- what if i said im not okay.. then?
Ram teases by saying- i wouldn't care..
Priya- how mean u are?
Ram- obviously.. aur waise bhi we are now engaged na.. if u werent okay with it i would make sure that u feel comfortable around me.. i would try making u as my friend.. aur tab tak toh RAM KAPOOR ka jaadu tum par chal jata aur u would be okay by then.. right?
Priya- not right..
Ram- seriously.. if u werent okay with it i would back off from this marriage even after we are engaged.. i would support and respect ur decision.. no matter if it hurts my ego too..
That made Priya smile.
Ram- Priya will u be my friend?
Priya is just overwhelmed by the way he is making her comfortable
Priya-yess..
An awkward silence prevailed between them..
Ram-ok Priya.. ab tum so jao.. maine already tumhaari neend kharaab kardi.. good night
Priya- good night Mr.kapoor
Saying this both hung up the call..
Priya is about to put her phone on the table when she feels her phone vibrate..
She lifted it up to see a message from Ram.. saying..
"Thank u dear would be wife to accept me as your friend
She smiles and replies
"Welcome would be husband.. also thank u for accepting me as your would be wife and bits her lips smilingly..
She gets a reply "u are always welcome fiance.. ab so jao warna subah mujhe shraap dogi neend kharab karne k liye.. Good night
She smiles and go to sleep
