Shooting at their love nest, Ram
and Gautami Kapoor come across
more as human beings than
stars. Despite having a huge fan
following, the invisibility of starry
tantrums makes one feel at ease.

The photo shoot took place
around Valentines Day. Besides
the pleasant shoot, the day also
marked the completion of the
sixth year of their marriage. "The
energy and excitement hasn't
faded away with time," say the
couple exuberantly.
The romance goes back to early
2000, when the shoot of
the serial Ghar Ek Mandir started.
"We were introduced on the
show and gradually became
friends, slowly proceeding to the
next level," says Ram.
Over the years, has the idea of
romance changed?
"Unlike in the
initial days, romance becomes
more about feeling complete
with the person you are
spending your entire life with,"
says Gautami. However, Ram has
a different take on it. "I don't
look at her in that romantic way
as I did when we were dating,
but as the mother of my two
kids."
In a long relationship, there must
be temptations outside.
How do
they control it?
"When you are content in a
relationship, things cease to
tempt you," Gautami says. Ram
adds, "I have had my wild past.
But I am very satisfied and happy
now. Plus, I find her very hot."
One thing they like and dislike
about each other? "I think he is
very honest and he has a great
sense of humour. But I don't like
his habit of smoking. I hope he
will kick the butt one day,"
Gautami says.
"I think what I like most about
her are her efforts to make her
loved ones happy. I want my kids
to inherit this quality of hers. And
when it comes to dislike, she can
be a great pain with her
scatterbrain attitude. She keeps
on misplacing her things all the
time...imagine what I have to
suffer!" he ends.
