Akshita Kapoor replaces Fenil to play Pihu

TOI exclusively reported about how producerEkta Kapoor is hunting for Fenil Umrigar's replacement, who plays the grownup Pihu in Bade Achhe Laggte Hain.
We had also mentioned that actress Amrita Prakash has been approached for the role and she even confirmed the same. And we are back to update you with another development.
The producer has locked Akshita Kapoor to play her new Pihu. Better known as Tanu fromKahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Akshita was also seen as Kritika Kamra's sister Antra in Kitani Mohobbat Hai. Rhui Bagga and Charlie Chauhan will play Mansi and Pari, respectively.
Says our source, "While Fenil is doing a decent job, Ekta wanted a stronger actress to play the part. The role will have negative shades too and hence Amrita decided to opt out. Akshita has been finalised now."
When contacted, Akshita said, "We are still in talks and nothing is confirmed."
