Balaji Telefilms' popular show Bade Achche Laggte Hain
on Sony TV might have finally found its grown-up Pihu.
After an extensive search, the makers have apparently
zeroed in on Fenil Umrigar to play the role..
Fenil who has been part of shows like Maryada Lekin
Kab Tak, Saubhagyavati Bhava, Gumrah, Hum Ne Li Hai
Shapath was last seen essaying the lead in Best Friends
Forever on Channel [V].
As per a reliable source, many known faces like Shamin
Mannan, Priya Wal, Priyal Gor were auditioned to essay
the role of Pihu. There was a time when the makers were
also looking for a fresh face. However, it now looks as
though Fenil Umrigar has bagged the prized role. She
has given her final look test recently. However, a final
talk between the team and the actress is yet to happen.
When contacted, Fenil told us, "Well, it is true that I have
been offered the role. But as you know, nothing is final
till I get a confirmation."
As we know, Pihu was earlier played by Amrita
Mukherjee. Presently the character is being essayed by
Aanchal Munjal.
Sources say that Ekta Kapoor has liked the audition of
Fenil, and wants her to play Pihu post the leap.
Let's wait and watch to see if Fenil makes it to the
winning line..
