Jab Swati ki varsha hoti hai - boond moti ban jaate hain. When rain falls in the asterism of Swati which is rare, then it is said that the oyesters in sea bed come to the surface to drink those raindrops and turn into pearls.
Aaj, dono ki aankhon se vo pyaar ki varsha hui aur saare ke saare ek doosre ki pyaar mein gir kar moti ban gaye.
Two individuals who always strove for happiness of people around them, found their soul mate so late in life. Loved each other in a way only they can. I don't think I will ever come across such a beautiful couple.
Today Ram and Priya showered their love towards each other in a way only they can. Their desperation, their despair, their helplessness brought tears.
The lady is in complete despair. The pent up feelings of last 5 years when she had no one to pour out to finally come out. Doesn't seem to have a clue on how to set things right in her life. She says she wants to just cry it out in his presence. And says if she has another chance, she would spend all her life with him. But thinks that chance is not going to come now. The Pandit at the mandap also says that its a second chance for Vikram and Neha to be together. The symbolism was well noted and is there for all to see.
The man is not so desperate. He single-handedly faced lots of upheavals in his life. Thinks they have another chance. But doesn't protest Priya too much. Gives in. The enormity of the situation and the mess their decisions created is not unnoticed by him. But deep down, he thinks he can make it happen. He reminds her of something and she laughs. Then veers back to sorrow. At that very moment the way Ram pre-empts and handles(sambhaalna) Priya was mind-blowing, heart-wrenching and out of the world. Only the actor Ram Kapoor can do it. The way Ram chokes when Priya starts crying(at the very beginning), well I felt like making them sit and consoling them.
Their hug, their wiping of each other's tears was magical is the least we can say. Priya wants Ram to go downstairs and he pleads. Oh my god. Just re-iterates why I feel he is the best male character ever written on television. No pretense, just wanting to be with her at that time. And Priya finally gives up and falls into his arms. She has always been 'Ram's Priya'. Sakshi was superb in the scene.
BALH is the only serial I have ever followed and the characters of Ram and Priya are so dear to me that I analyze them so much. Try to understand their actions, interpret them and correlate them to my life.
Sangam ho tho aisa ho. Antaranga sangamam. Union of their inner-arenas. No holds barred. Ram and Priya's tears washed away all the negativity in them. Purified everything around. What a union of souls.
Yesterday I said, I am not too worried about what happens later. For me this union is enough. Both gave it all for the other.
The backdrop of sacred marriage mantras provided the perfect symbolism to their union.
