For last several months Bigg Boss has been ruling drawing rooms across India. Undoubtedly the most watched Hindi television series with petty fights, hurling accusations and exciting elimination rounds with a top Bollywood star like Salman Khan has hooked the audiences for good.
However, yet another television series Bade Acche Lagte Hain seems to be catching up fast. According to a TV search and electronic guide provider company, Whats-On-India's report, the queen of television, Ekta Kapoor'sBade Acche Lagte Hain is back with a bang, after a twist in the plot surrounding Ram Kapoor's character's death. The twist has garnered tremendous response and although the series has not managed to toppled the reality show, it ended at a very close second spot on Whats-on-India's most watched Hindi tv series list.

Balika Vadhu took the third spot followed by Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, which is an new entry on the list. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai featured on the fifth and last spot.
As for the most viewed Hindi film, the report stated that Emraan Hashmi's Jannat 2 took the pole position while Salman'sEk Tha Tiger, stole the runner up slot.

In the English movie category, Christopher Nolan's Inception clinched the top position followed by 13, featuring Jason Statham. 127 Hours bagged the third position . Novel-turned-movie, Sherlock Holmes features on the list at fourth spot, followed up the only survivor from last week's ranking, Safe, on fifth.
In the sports category, Barclays Premier League 2012/13 Live, upstaged Airtel England Tour of India 2012/13 Test Live, yet again as Team India was humbled by England in the Kolkata test. The former clinched the first spot and the latter took second position on the sports category list.
Last round of matches in group stages of UEFA Champions League 2012/13 Live, took it to the third spot, followed by WWE RAW 2012 on fourth. Australian domestic T20 tournament, KFC Twenty20 Big Bash League 2012 – 13 Live, rounded of the list with a fifth spot finish.
