Who is responsible for TRP's?

• When the main characters are in trouble and pain, the TRP's go up and when everything is smooth sailing and happy they are down.
• BALH viewers have been crying hoarse saying they do not want a separation and when they showed Priya and Ram together, handling situations together, the TRP's were down. Now when there is trouble between them, the TRP's are doing better.
• Do the viewers of the shows want the main characters to be sad and separate from each other all the time?

I find it hard to digest that when the main characters are fighting or having an EMA or mis-trusting each other, I see the green arrow come up. When they are together fighting for a cause or trusting each other and staying together, I see the red arrow come up.

in simple words if your show get more trps, channel get more money and channel give producers more money .

i heard somewhere if your show trps 5+ then per episode you get 1 crore or so and if your show getting less trps like 1 or 2 you get 30 to 40 lacs .

here one more thing if a show is hit then ads companies give ads to channel and ask channel to air ads during this show which getting more trps, thats why trps is very important not only for producers, channels but also for ads companies .

trps like boxoffice collection for television .

The system unlike the box-office collection is flawed though..as the TRPs only indicates the popularity of a show in the sample homes where the TAM meters are installed-The real picture may be different..
