Thumb injury turns grave

Sumona Chakravarty, who is currently making a mark in Sony's TRP booster Bade Acche Lagte Hai, met with an accident recently.
The actress injured her thumb while shutting the door of her car. However, the pain didn't deter her from resuming work.
She continued shooting but before long the pain was too much to bear. On consulting a doctor, it was found that her thumb needed to be operated.
She said, "Initially, I thought it was something minor but then the pain became worse and I had be operated."
