I loved the epi.
I don't really love shipra because she thought too much of how society perceive her and that gets on my nerve, what she says to priya was rude and too dramatic. She wants her child to be responsible but she acts like a young adult without pondering her words.
I'll take my own person as example : i'm a young adult and i still make mistakes out of lacks of experience. When my mother tries to put me on the right path she doesn't go all crazy wanting me to leave house.
She has enough experience to know what to say and how to say it in order to make me a responsible and a good person. If she was herself acting like a loud person i surely wouldn't take her as a role model.
I don't know why but i just don't get shipra. Okay, okay she was in fact trying to help her daughter but this is not the right way.
Also, she was angry at priya saying that she is too free minded , that she doesn't take any of her responsibilities and then she went off in her room to cry saying that she understand that her daughter is taking responsibilities for the rest of the family and their happiness. I just don't get her, and i don't really want to get to understand her in fact.
About the last scene, i says a lot that i empathize a lot with the character so usually i feel more than awkward on scene like that, but this was so realistic and the actor played so well that i didn't felt awkward a bit so this telephonic conversation was one of my favourite scene of all time!
here are my thoughts on the two scenes you pointed out. No harm intended on shipra's fans.
