Vaishali Nazreth going Mandira way…

Mandira Bedi's claim to fame was her 'noodle strap' blouses. Cricket became just a reason to watch Mandira come alive on screen oozing sensuality and oomph with her 'sexy sarees and her sexier blouses.'

Post Mandira's noodle strap, none of our celebs have ventured the 'noodle' way. But, our little birdie tells us that Vaishali Nazreth, of the famed Babul Ka Aangan Chootey Na is treading the 'Mandira Noodle strap' path.

Curiosity got the better of us and we couldn't resist catching up with Vaishali to decode her 'noodle strap saga'.
"What can I say…it takes guts and the right attitude to carry out this look. And I guess, the production house knew that I had the right combination of the two. I have a great figure and I believe in – If you have it, flaunt it! But the look that I carry is quite a challenge."

A challenge to carry a blouse? Isn't Vaishali exaggerating…But she says, " I wish I was. But the designer's gone for an extreme look with this blouse. The straps overlap over one another, wherein I need to have a control on my nerves, something like what belly dancers do to have a control on tummy, likewise, I need to be in an erect posture all the time. And I don't see any difficulty in it because I thoroughly enjoy it and that keeps me comfortable."

But guess what, Vaishali's ramrod posture has become a butt of all jokes on the sets Raja Bundela is perpetually confused on the dynamics of the strap…but, we blame it on the 'being a man' quotient. She adds, "Every now and then, he keeps looking at me with a perplexed expression and a sense of wonderment. It's really humorous."

She adds, "It is quite tricky and taxing at times but it is getting me a lot of attention which feels good. We just came up with this new concept and I'm getting positive feedback from my fans. And I guess this concept will continue for quite sometime, at least until I put on some weight on my shoulders (laughs)".
